with regards to using moneyclaims, when I posted about it earlier on in this thread a few people replied that although you were guaranteed to win the case, it does not mean that mobileshop are forced into paying. To get them to pay you might have to call in the bailiffs which will add yet more expense which might not be recoverable(or may be, has anyone gone this far yet with them?). Also should they go bust then you lose out in the fees as well.
I am getting to the point that I am more than willing to take the risk as I have nothing but contempt for mobilshop now.

My 3rd Cashback claim is outstanding for over 3 months, it should have been paid in early Feb and the 4th and final cashback claim should be paid this week. I've just e-mailed them now after receiving their standard reply stating that small claims will be the next step.
I did this last year with an ebay seller and got all my monies paid back. The only thing to note is that if they defend the claim and it goes to court then it will be at a court local to them. This happened to me and I had to drive a few hundred miles but I got my travelling expenses reimbursed and also £50 for taking a day off work. An initial claim of £57 ended up costing over £210.

You should use moneyclaimonline that operates out of Northampton county court then cases requiring a hearing are transferred to the claimant's local court.

They finally sent me a email last week saying that my overdue cashback would be processed on friday.
They paid the money into my account on the 27th, about 45 days overdue. I had sent them a notification of legal action via moneyclaim with a deadline of 1st May.
This was the 4th email I had sent them the 1st 3 I sent all got standard replies.
I dont think they pay any attention to threatts of moneyclaim, they seem to be working through a backlog based on oldest claim 1st.
I've still got one cashback outstanding however this has not yet hit the 60 day period.

I hope they are paying the oldest claims first as I've got one which is now 150 days past the voucher expiry date!!

    .

My claim was only late by two weeks or so. I don't believe there is much logic in how they are paying.

I agree. They are not paying in any kind of order. There are people here who have waited way longer than I have but there are also others who have had to endure for a shorter period of time than I have.

    Hi,

Two of the claims were just over 5 months (Nov) from date of claim, the other 4 months (Dec).

In my email requesting payment I also advised of 2 other claims that were just over the 60 day period (later claims of two of the above). No mention of these in their replies and no payments made. I will send email reminders for these in due course.

    SC

Have since emailed again (politely) and have now received last 2 payments totaling £210.

Mobileshop fine by me - no hesitation in taking out further contracts with them.

ps not pretty by any means.....

I rang to chase my claim which was paid on Monday the 30th (very overdue).
I spoke to cashback and told them my fears of not being paid and stuff - the girl stated they are paying all cashback - but working through the backlog and customer who are chasing - everything is being done manually as there system is not matching vouchers/payment amount/bank account.

I still have another payment now due which I had forgot to claim - and they claimed it for me over a month late as I had been waiting for payment (so seems to be trying to be fair):rotfl:

I will wait for last payment - but I to would use Moblieshop again:j
    Back and on a mission:cool:
