Happy to report receiving 3 x £105 cashback and took the final payment as £110.25 of Argos vouchers (to save waiting until April for the final payment!). I don't know if it is coincidence, but all payments were received slightly after they were due - a quick conversation with Customer Services using their Live Chat and a few days later the cheques/vouchers came through.
The Verdict? They paid all the £420 cashback due as promised (eventually!) but it did seem to take a little longer than their website (and their reputation pre-summer 2006) suggested. They send you a text and email to confirm documents received, and have a good online tracking system. If you are willing to stick to their T&Cs (personally used Special Delivery to send documents), willing to wait for the extra long time between your bill and the cashback (though this is stated up front) and follow up when payment is due (may not be necessary but never wanted to chance leaving it too long!), then Mobileshop are worth considering. Personally, I have gone for a deal at CPW this time as it was only 3 claims required, but I may return to Mobileshop should the deal make it worthwhile.

Just started a contract with mobileshop
I've printed out the t&cs and calculated the relevant dates and I'm about to note all of them on our 'family planner'
Fingers crossed - in 12 months I'll have had a free year and a free phone with free calls. Alternatively I'll have fouled it up somewhere and be £420 poorer.
Incidentally - the phone - a Sony w850i on T-mobile - appears to unlocked - I tried an O2 sim and it worked! :T0 -
If you buy a o2 contract from mobileshop, the cashback they they pay you, is it via cheque or BACS?0
