Then how come you phoned retentions? You only phone them if your an existing customer! An upgrade means you keep your old number if you are already a t mobile customer!
I was talking to retentions about an upgrade but the MobilePhonesDirect.co.uk deal I mentioned was not an upgrade.

Like i said upgrade on t mobile through buymobilephones/chitter chatter you will get the 2 boosters: net and 1 other. If you take out a new contract you will have to phone t mobile to get two and change the net

BuyMobilePhones doesn't appear to have any t-mobile upgrades available.

Chitter Chatter claim I can get the Desire but won't tell you what contract you are going to be on. Strange website.

Have just rang buymobilephones and got the same deal as an upgrade with T-Mobile, very pleased as was being quoted £30 by t-mobile themselves and the lowest other deal I saw was £25 ish.

They said they were hoping for more stock next week so fingers crossed :)

You and me both. If you hear anything please let me know.
    I will do likewise.
  • IM THINKING WHICH PHONE IS BETTER IPHONE 3GS OR HTC DESIRE CAN ANY ONE HELP ME I CANT DIS-SIDE::think:
  • I'm in the last month of my T-Mobile contract - so went through the process of rejecting various upgrade and retention offers which I didn't fancy. So got my PAC last week.

Retentions rang up again today and have offered:

    - free HTC Desire
    - 900mins
    - 500sms
    - 'Unlimited' data
    - 60 EU mins (booster)
    - 24 months @ £22pm

    Looks pretty decent.

A quick Google on HTC Desire HD will show a page from Amazon UK listing the new HTC Ace/Desire HD model at UK price of £415 . Page pulled rapidly but it stopped me buying current model today as one prices are liable to drop and two at a very similar price i shall wait for the specs to arrive .
New model also been listed on T Mobiles and Voda Germanys inventory's.

I've been reading this thread and wondering if anyone went for a simfree HTC Desire ... I've had a PAYG phone since the old prepaid option disappeared. I don't want a contract for 18 or 24 months.

    TIA

    :)
