My advice would be to get a PAC code and sit on it for a few days.
No harm in doing so as you've not cancelled your contract until you use the code. If you do this I'm sure you will get T-Mobile ringing you offering the £22.50 deal as I did.
You can try ringing buymobilephones.net (I got offered £15 a month through them) but I am little unsure about this company and the whole 1/3gb FUB issue so I'm going with T-Mobile direct.0 -

I know its nowhere near some of the deals people are getting on upgrades, but I've just ordered a HTC Desire from buymobilephones for £29 on a £20/24 month contract. 300 mins, 300 txts and unlimited internet as the booster option.30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.0

And thanks everyone, will phone them 2moro and laugh at there £30 deal and ask for a PAC lol, and then I wait :cool:0 -
FINALLY struck a deal with 3 a week after asking for my PAC code
500 mins, unlimited texts, 1gb internet, free 3 to 3 (essential for us, the whole house is with 3) and the HTC Desire all for £20.00 per month.
Really pleased, only drawback is I have to wait until 1st of September for the phone to be delivered.
This has taken me 6 long weeks of negotiations which started with them wanting £32 for the same deal. It pays to wait folks!Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

Just phoned up T-Mobile CS team and said im thinking of canceling but I noticed I was due for an upgrade (this was true) and this contract has been going years, what deal can you do me on a HTC Desire?
The reply was an offer for:
600 Mins
500 Texts
Flexible booster
Unlimited internet
for £30, I said hold on a min, thats the same that you offer for new customers, and its not a good deal anyway, as for £35 Three offer 2000 mins and 5000 texts for new customers, to which there was no real reply, then I was offered a Xperia X10 Mini pro, to whic I said im only really interested in the desire (also true) and then she offered me a Sim Only deal and said is that any use to you, so I just replied no, if and if you cant offer the desire any cheaper then I want request my PAC, heres hoping for a phone call0 -

Just got a call from CS and they offered me a HTC Desire with 600 Mins, 500 Texts, Flexible Booster and Unlimited Internet for £22.50 and I have not used this contract at all in the last 6 months at least, so great deal for me!0

I rang to request my PAC code (at end of contract) and have been offered the following:
HTC desire
remain on existing deal (700 xnet mins, 250 txts)
unlimited internet
£30/month for 24 months, but 50% discount applied for 20 months.
Works out at just under £20/month (£470 over 24 months)
I think its a great deal but is 24 months too long?
Also, they dont actually have the phone in stock but will ring me when it comes in. Fingers crossed!!!0 -
1 would never take a 24 month contract
i was even weighing up the pros and cons of an 18 month contracts vs sim free0
