  • Rang T-Mobile retentions twice today and both times I've been told they cannot offer the desire on anything less than £30 per month.

Any tips on getting them down?

Otherwise I going to go for -
    MobilePhonesDireect - 300mins, 300texts, unlimited texts for £20 per month (+ £85 up front)

Unfortunately it isn't an upgrade. So I would loose my number which I rather like.

Then how come you phoned retentions? You only phone them if your an existing customer! An upgrade means you keep your old number if you are already a t mobile customer!

Quidco also offer cashback for MPD.co.uk - £30 at the moment which would bring the up front cost down to £55 :j

Mobiles.co.uk were doing the Desire for £79.99 on 300 mins, 300 texts, unlimited internet (1GB/3GB FUP, depends on T-Mobile upgrading you) for £20 pm, and you get £50 cash back through TCB. So the handset is only £29.99 and you get data.
I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?
