I used to bank with NatWest until I switched to A and L two years ago. I switched because I couldn't cope with their spurrious charges. However, I now want to claim from them and although I have my account number and sort code I can't trace an address for Natwest Primeline Advantage Gold account on their web site, on Google or anywhere else (and of course I haven't kept my statements). I know it's Theale but can't risk sending to NatWest Theale without full address as presumably they'll avoid the 40 day rule if I don't get it to them properly addressed.
Any ideas? (D'oh)

I sent to my local branch by recorded delivery- maybe a bad idea0 -

for crysta1010 it is 0131 626 1117.Number should be fine to ring on Tuesday as Monday is Bank Holiday. Explain that you sent a Subject Access Request to the branch and as yet have received nothing. They should sort this out, may be worth reminding them that they are now outside the 40 days period for disclosure.0

Hi, has anyone here had any luck with Norwich and Peterborough as I have sent the 3 letters and am claiming £144 but they replied today saying they are going to close my account in 30 days and are offering me half the full amount.
I do not want to accept this but wondered if anyone else had had any luck with this building society??
The most i have been overdrawn is about £2 and they apply charges on last day of month so i am overdrawn the first day of the next month and then i get charged £28 for the next month again, i have tried to call them but get told no way are they going to do anything cos they are not in the wrong.
Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers0 -

If you don't want to accept their offer you then have to go on with the next step of taking them to court.0 -

reply to kate reid, this is quite normal for halifax, they sent me the same letter, they dont want to pay anything is the simple answer, when i recieved this letter i just filed my claim with the small claims court and they settled on the last day befor the date set by the court, also had successful claim with capital one which never even got to the filing court claim ,so hang in there kate, dont let them rattle you.0
