    Bank: RBS
    Amount Claimed: £605.29
    Amount Paid: £605.29

I had two claims in with RBS and they paid the first (£142) straight away. they lost the second one because apparently the database wiped me because I accepted the other offer. However, they contact me on Friday asking me to get in touch to help. They did it over the phone with me today. My claim was from Mar '03 to Jan '07. The girl checked Feb & Mar of this year to make sure there were no more charges! They are sending me a form to sign and then will put the money in my account.

Thanks to everyone on the website for the the encouragement...it's unbelieveably easy!!!
  • Hi all,

Wondered if anyone can help me???

I'm in the process of reclaiming my charges from Barclays and have got to the small claims court part.

I've now received a reply stating that Barclays have filed a defence and received an allocation questionnaire to fill in. Is this normal and if so can someone help with how to complete this?

    Many thanks,
    BarneyHo

    Amount Claimed: £32.00
    Amount Received: £20.00

    Barclaycard
    Amount Claimed: £290.00

Although, I could of pushed and gone for the full amount I have settled on these amounts as I am going to save all my energy for my big claim with Barclays!

  • we had two personal lloyds accounts mine was charged about 800 over the six years and my wifes about 750,hers they repaid 750 on the stregnth of a letter asking for it back, mine I had to start moneyclaim online proceedings, I went for interest and the cost of the court proceedings altogether got back about 1100 prior to court date being set.
We have not stopped smiling yet, thanks Martin.
  • Claimed £2,129.50  :money: :T
    First Direct have offered £1,810

There's a difference of about £300, but I am happy with their offer as I understand that I would have incurred charges....... but not at £38 a shot!

I am so happy with this as I was absolutely petrified about claiming, but after reading through this site numerous times, this gave me the courage to go for it.
    All achieved in 4 weeks.
Thanks to all who have given advice.

About to take on Abbey for £750 and Capital One (still waiting for statements)
