  • Groupons a good place to look for ideas and good deals. There’s a whole host of touristy experiences and also ones that actual New Yorkers would do so you can choose something that suits your interests.

Sit down and price up the attractions you would like to visit and then check this price against the Pass price, bearing in mind that if you purchase a pass because it looks good value, you could end up chasing up and down NY just to take in the sights that you have paid for.
  • I am looking at booking a family trip to NYC in April for myself, my husband and 2 teens. The problem I am having is that hotel rooms for 4 people tend to only offer 2 double beds. The teens (boy and girl) would no way agree to share a bed. Does anyone know of a fairly centrally located hotel that would give us a double and 2 singles in the same room? Not too costly if possible! Thanks

Have a look to see if they offer rollaway beds. Most US motels do those for a small additional charge but sorry I've no experience of US hotels.

  • I've heard about a bar/restaurant just under the Top Of The Rock viewing deck where you can see the great view for free - just wondering if anyone has done this? Does the restaurant mind? Is it easy to do?
