it works out at exactly £10 a month with quidco + free wireless router worth £50.
erb - I would sign up again as new customer and use a different debit card. As far as I remember from my student days (constantly using free trials), they check by card number and not address or telephone number.
PS My mate just signed up and it was on his quidco within 20 mins.0 -
Hey
I've set up an AOL Silver through Quidco and the cashback has registered without probs (only took a few mins!!) but I haven't had any confirmation or acknowledgement from AOL yet and I don't know what's taking so long.
I signed up for it on Friday and it will be exactly a week by tomorrow and still nothing. Can someone help and tell me how long it took for them to send at least a letter to say they're doing the connection?
Thank you v.much

I signed up for silver on 24/7/06 (because they were offering it for £9.99 per month as a limited offer). I got an email saying broadband pack was dispatched on 31/7 and it arrived today. You have my first post on broadband! I kept getting a message when I connected saying that it couldn't regonise my details and told me to phone a free phone number. They said I would need to phone billing on 0870 number to sort it out. Call including waiting time, took 21mins. I wasn't a happy bunny. Has anyone else had this problem?0

I got it for £9.99, but didn't get free router or first month free. Probably someone on here could tell you which is better deal. Maths isn't my strong point.0 -

or do they expect me to log into webmail on AOL  So it seems to take some time for things to get moving. Ask them for a discount to go to £9.99 see what they say - tell them about the probs you've been having and let us know what they say back. :T

After being with AOL Dialup for years, I finally took the plunge and upgraded to Broadband (AOL Gold) 4 months ago for £19.99 a month. Didn't want to change ISP so decided to stay with AOL, and thought that was quite a good deal.
BUT.....after seeing the recent posts for £9.99 or £14.99 with a router (Silver) how do I negotiate changing my package, when Im only 4 months into a 12 month contract. Any tips......?Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0 -
Phone up and say you are totally annoyed with the fact others are paying half the price for broadband and you want the same price. If they do, you'll be on a new 12 month contract.0

agree with greyster. and that's why i was asking crabman what he was paying.
Ring them up.
we were on 17.99 month and after reading about the £9.99 on here last week , rang them ... they immediately said " no problem , we'll put you on to £9.99 as long as you sign for further 12 months .0
