Wouldnt recommend AOHell. Just go to http://www.ispreview.co.uk and check out the reviews on AOL. It is pretty frightening.0

Only problem I can see with this is the Quidco cashback may be declined if you cancel before it is validated/paid....I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

AOL always gets bad reviews because people have got chips on their shoulders. Ask anyone who uses it and I'm sure you'll find that they would recommend it.0

Yes I think the quidco could take 2 months to pay out hence the 2mths for £15. But quidco SHOULD pay the £45 regardless of how long you stay..0

For anybody who went for the AOL Silver £14.99 per month with free router deal may I ask:
- what make of modem/router did you get?
- did the deal also include any USB adaptors/recievers for the PCs
- did you get any microfilters for phone sockets
- how easy was it to set up the modem/router and wireless network and were the instructions easy to follow
- have you been satisfied with the service.
.

zaccy - when you set the Netgear router up initially does it come with an earthernet cable to attach to your PC? Then after that do you set up adaptors on your PCs to network with the router? Presumably AOL will sell adaptors as well as whats the point in a wireless router if you are not going to use it wirelessly.
Also, whats this about an auction?Regards

Just got off the phone to AOL, they have offered me 1mb for £9.99 with no contract as im using my own equipment, they told me i would be on the platinum for free for 1 month then i will get an email to choose a packakage and i can choose silver for £9.99, so my best bet it to go through quidco for £45 cashback making it £6.24 a month
Time to get my MAC code
EDIT: They offered me the Netgear Router for £25 but would have meant 12 month contract.0 -
The big thing people/me hate about AOL is that you need to have that god damn awful browser of there's. BT yahoo is terrible for that too. Personally all i want from a internet connection is just an internet connection no other sh*t added on0
