Very strange assumptions. The phone is theirs to do as they wish - where did "stolen" invent from? Any check would merely show that it isn't.

Give over read the OPs comment and mentions "stolen" and silk mentioned "tuesday" which got me thinking it might be stolen - I made a mistake of thinking the OP wanted to sell the phone.

The answer (as I gave) is that the phone is theirs and they can sell or lend it as they wish.
