Ahhhhhhhhh! My lads. Bless them. They fought so valiantly yesterday and won (quite convincingly!). My OH is going to the final v Sale at Twickenham with some friends and his dad. Meanwhile, I'll be on my hen do at the races.
I still have dreams about the first few rows of the church for my wedding filled with Leicester Tigers........... but it's not to be!OH realises that my "relationship" with them has been for a long, long, long time.

taplady - i would really love to do that, i done it once at Potters, great! but they dont have any classes near me, sob, by the time i find one i'll be too old to do it - how long have you been doing it?? any very interested.
Been doing it for over 10 years! luckily one of my mates is the teacher which is how I got into it.Dont worry about your age, my mums only just given up at 64!;) and quite a lot of the class is older than me (and I'm nearly 40! )
We do shows and get to wear fishnets and little sparkly lycra numbers!:o its great fun!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
VickyA wrote:I was also observed by the head today. It seems really pointless as he's going round each teacher observing us, making sure that we're doing ok. However, he only saw me teach for 10 mins. How on earth can you make a judgement on that? The experienced Year 6 teacher was observed for the same amount of time, so we're finding it quite pointless. It's just so that he can tell Ofsted that he's following the "Action Plan" that is in place.
normal practice vicky when in special measures. Our head said 2 LEA inspectors are planning to watch every member of the teaching staff in two days next week. Oh joy. That always makes me more nervous as its hard to judge what they have seen and if they liked it. Aparently our focus for next week is our marking, and the kids attitude to learning, so as long as i highlight well what the kids are meant to be doing, i should be ok.
It is naff though in't it.
Michelle.

PP I remember doing a seaside run about 15 years ago when I was working as a taxi-driver.We had great fun and our 'passengers' did as well. We did it for the special-needs school in Orpington and the kids were terrific.
Not all taxi-drivers are miserable devils, some of us are quite good fun at times ask nelski and Bargainrzl.
Went to the clinical assesment today at Iwade and had one injection.HUGE needle and I have to return at the end of May.Not looking forward to it but if it keeps my joints working then it must be good. Blooming hurt though !!
Came home and looked at my garden and decided it can wait a bit longer before it gets mowed.Did some revising instead.0 -

Good morning!
A lovely day here, 2 loads of washing to go out on line, so they should get dry.
Not got a lot planned today, but DS1 and his fiancee will be coming to dinner & he has put in an order for pizza & chips, so not very OS - especially as it was not what I had planned.
Went to my keep fit group last night - my weight was at the lowest it has been since starting.:j :j :j
Actually I have been feeling quite smug since Saturday, when I wore black trousers. What's so impressive about black trousers? Well, I had bought this pair of trousers from a charity shop about a year or so ago, without trying them on, but they were very reasonable & looked nice. So I bought them without trying them on. Took them home.... but they wouldn't even pull over my thighs:mad:
Anyway, I kept them, thought I would try them on again on Saturday...:j :j :j they fit me now :j :j :j
So I feel a bit happier about myself
Have a good day!0 -
