    Hi everyone!
Not been on for a few days as OH had a big dollshouse show in London at the weekend so I've been minding the small person, doing one day up there with OH and sorting out my Dad's birthday [HM choccie cake etc etc]. Phew and then straight back to earth and back to work yesterday!!
The show was fab...we sold lots and OH has plenty of orders which will keep him out of mischief for the next 6 months. We had a couple of more orders placed yesterday aswell. It's such a great experience... all the customers are really friendly and the fellow stallholders are really supportive towards us new kids on the block.
Ah well OH is doing his tax return today so that's a reality check but he's just rung me to tell me I've won £100 on the premium bonds [I was on the point of cancelling them last week] so we're going to push the boat out and treat ourselves and hopefully my parents to half price fish and chips at the new place in town tomorrow evening.
Have done a dark wash today and cleaned the bathroom. Will need to update the accounts and want to catch up on some of the programmes I've recorded.
    Nowt else!

Michelle - WTG on your bonus day off! Am trying to think of cunning ways to sabotage the repair work so you can have the rest of the week off, but nothing comes to mind :D

Latest update is we are waiting on wet cement setting in the car park. I'm rather tempted to take the kittens and let them have an adventure ;) Oh well - i suppose it would be too much of a good thing. At least there is only 8 school days till half term, and one of them is a training day. :T

I managed to make my to do list go up to 19 things (because i added some as i was doing them) but 9 are done, 10 left to do. 3 of those part done.

I have managed to spend a fortune as i needed petrol, and then £160 in ASDA. I did buy some more maternity clothes (about £20 worth) and lots of little baby vests and sleep suits in newborn and 0-3, and we haven't been for a month, so i didn't think it that bad. Fridge/freezer/pantry all restocked. Whiskas kitten food pouches were on roll back saving about 78p a box, so i picked up 5. Anyway, i had a car boot full plus more. It was certainly a lot as it took me about 3/4 of an hour to shop'n'scan it and put it all away.

Then i did a couple of hours of marking - then lunch and some dandelieon deheading in the garden. Don't know where they all came from as DH dug a load of them out last week when he was about.

Another load is just finished in the WM. Bedding is in TD. I had a moment when i thought the house was too quiet, and found one cat in lour bed asleep, and the other on top of my ironing pile. :rotfl:

This afternoon, there are another couple of sets of books to mark, put the bedding back on, and i might forget about cleaning the bathroom unless i have time. Will see how i go.

outrageus monkey you will probably have to strip for physio. I had shoulder pains and had to remove top, and then bra while he did the massaging, although all done while i was laid on my front. It is best to prepare yourself for it. Although i'm not a prude, it wasn't what i was expecting.

jo hugs. If i were near you i'd pop round with some lucozade. Don't forget some sort of anti-runs tablets for your box. That is a pig if you are stuck in without that, as i found out to my peril before i lived with DH.

mushypeas thanks for the congrats. It must be good being able to catch up with everything. Hope your arm is not giving you too much bother today.

Math great to see you back. Congrats about Mrs MAths job. Money isn't everything is it. You can't buy time. Plus, always easier to find a job when you already have one.

BRZL Thanks for trying to sabotage work. It's a necessary evil. I hope you manage your two day 'detox' without too much distraction. ;)

Anyway, best potter some more as i don't think i will have tomorrow off. Isn't it amazing how much more productive some days are than others. ;)

    See you all later
    Michelle,
    xx

    Hiya everyone

MATH - congrats toMr s MATH on her job. As you say, it will help in the short term at least, whilst you have other more pressing issues.

Rzl - Hmmm - coming to the N.West then? Best get the sheets on me spare bed changed :D:D LOL

I also joined the poorly sleepers club lastnight - don't know why though  I watched a film on tv and decided to strip down the dyson to see if i could repair it - however it took me over an hour to get it apart cos I didn't have the best tools available. Then I found it's deffo the motor that's burnt out so at least I can dump it with a clear conscience now :)

Today I've been a really busy bee. I've been to 3 different towns to do 3 mystery shopping jobs, trawled the cheapo shops for party favours/pass the parcel type gifts and gone to Lidl for some bits and bobs. Just got in and have had time to grab a coffee while i read this thread. I now need to put the shopping away (cos I don't want the kids seeing the chocs and pressies) before I start the school run at 2.45.

Tonight I may list some stuff on ebay - if I can be bothered. Have lots of online mystery shopping stuff to complete however.

    B: cereals
    L: sandwich
D: gammon steaks, mash and veg

Hope you all have a good day and I may catch you later. :D

south wales looks rather grey this afternoon..no rain as yet though. went into uni today for my oral exam...shaky start, which annoyed me because im not normally the least bit nervous :p i recovered well though, and my tutor seemed impressed at the end.

this afternoon im going to have a good tidy and visit my nan, so that all distractions are out the way, and i can focus on my last essay of the academic year from tomorrow

other than that, no major news to report. still, no news is good news!! hope life is treating you all well.

smokey - the BOGOF pleasure beach vouchers that I had (and forgot to pack when going to Blackpool  ) were originally found through a link on MSE's "Days Out" forum. But I don't think they're there now. There is however a current thread on the same subject on the Days Out forum which suggests that Lloyds TSB has a booklet offering, among other things, 3 for 2 on wristbands. HOWEVER I can have a root around when I get home and see if I still have the BOGOF vouchers I printed out. I know I was having a clear out at the weekend (didn't finish, and now can't see the floor cos of lots of little piles of paperwork waiting to be filed :o) and found them, but can't remember what I then did with them - might have hung onto them in case somebody needed them, but if I had a blonde moment (am not blonde BTW :D) and threw them away, then it's hopeless cos the recycling people came this morning . Will have a look around at home tonight and if I find them, you can PM me your address and I'll pop 'em in the post.

During May if you go on a weekday I believe it's only £15 anyway (???)

Congrats to Mrs MATH on the new job. It is better than nothing and will keep the wolf from the door :) and I hope it opens the door to more gainful employment before too long.

Hope your dad isn't doing too badly elona ((((hugs))))

TM - you make that spare bed up girl - and another for the mad lass with blue hair who will be providing the final leg of my transport - which is just as well really, seeing as somebody was threatening to make me walk all the way from Preston ;):D

Mini-detox is not going too badly. Since the bacon sarnie with butter and brown sauce this morning  I haven't succumbed to any of my usual daytime temptations - coffee, diet coke, Trebor Extra Strong Mints - though I did find a small bar of decent organic dark chocolate at the bottom of my handbag which I had forgotten was there. (It ain't there now :D) The one thing which I have been studiously trying to avoid now the weather is warmer is the new Starbucks Banana Caramel Frappuccino  which look awfully fattening and are over £3 each  The main temptation will be wine this evening. I have decided to cut down/out drinking at home during the week anyway, as I have realised that once I start on the wine it condemns my evening to being completely unproductive!

    Afternoon Guys

    Quiet on here today!

    MATH-Congrats to Mrs MATH...fabulous news!

Well the SC curry using all odds and sods has turned out really well and will post on the other thread about it in a while:D

SIL came today and helped out by cleaning the wooden blinds, floors, couple of kitchen cupboards and the ironing:j and had a good old natter about life and family:eek:

DW has just gone on and DD can unload it abit later. House all clean and tidy still and washing was dried outside, although it does look like its going to rain soon.

OH has sanded down some of the garden furniture and wire scrubbed the decking which both need to be painted. The wood is starting to soften and he has sugested a new garden set, but we dont have the dosh ATM-so he has stripped it and will last this summer:D He;s also mowed the lawn and done some weeding...hes absolutely knackered..LOL.

DD has just come in from school so will have to go.

    Hugs to everyone.

 :o I fell asleep on the sofa at midday and I only just woke up! :o

Must have needed it though as the tonsils feel better (although that might just be the super strong painkillers still working) but im still aching all over. I think I may well make myself a sandwich or something then retire to bed and do revision tomorrow. Im so glad im already off work as I would hate to have gone to work feeling like this!

Anyway, off to forage for food (although im not really hungry - I just feel like I should eat anyway) then drag myself to bed!
