WM and TD both on - it's miserable here today. DD's packed lunch all made, school and work clothes ironed (when will I get it into my head to do it at night to save myself time in the morning  )

Tea tonight will be chicken parmigiana, followed by banoffee pie - yummy! Washed down with a bottle of vino from Mr T :D

Better dash - I'm not dressed yet.

    bye for now.
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Morning everyone ,Hope you are all feeling bright-eyed and bushey-tailed .Off to college this morning for a riveting time with the law of tort only four more weeks to go help what ever made me pick law to do this year Oh yes, there wasn't a lot of choice at the time. God knows what I shall do in September as Medway council are cancelling courses left right and centre .Ah well perhaps I'll have to stay at home and grow old instead.
Finally managed to get my daughters passort sorted out and in the post.First application was rejected as her fringe on her photo was too long, then the next one was turned away by the jobsworth at the post office as it was written in the wrong colour biro (it HAS to be black). She was begining to panic, as it's 24th June that we fly to Amsterdam for Robbie Williams , but at last it went off yesterday with check-and-send in the Post Office cost her an extra £7.00 for this service on top of the £51.00 but at least it is promised for two weeks .
Sun is shining here at the moment in North kent but as my old ma-in-law used to say

    Have a great day everyone

    Morning everyone.

I am pleased to see beautiful sunshine on my 2nd bonus day off work. Is it wrong of me now to pray for a week off work??? ;) (I was trying to incite some kids to go and give the workmen a bit of hassle, but i don't think they took me seriously.) Hope Jackie-o's ma-in law's saying doesn't come true today.

I have a long list of jobs to do, so i promised myself i'd stay off the computer. 18 tasks - 4 and two half ones already done. I have been able to let both cats have a run round outside this morning so fred was happy, and i was able to not worry. I just scared him though when i went in the kitchen and he jumped a mile. Both are being very skittish today.

We had a busy evening. I did a declutter of the coffee table. DH washed the kitchen carpet. It's only old tiles but with dropped food, and poorly cats, boy was it in need of it. Hand scrubbing just isn't the same.

It's mostly marking for me today, but i'm about to do a run over to the big ASDA and get a few baby bits while i'm there, plus the bank, and get petrol and post some bits.. Hopefully i'll then be set to get on by about 10:30.

Ageandjo reminded me i need to use up some bacon, so i might do something for tea with that tonight. :rotfl:

Have a wonderful day. I'll hopefully not be back on here for a bit or i'll not get anything done. I may allow myself back while eating lunch if i have been a good girl.

    See you all later,
    Michelle xx

    Good Morning All

Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning (5.30 - head was exploding with cold) then when I came out after my shower it had gone all dark and overcast:confused: .

So plan was lots of washing today but will see what weather does in the next hour or so.

Horrible morning as DD who's 10 seems to hate us all at the mom and is being nasty, I know she's worried about all school trip on Sunday (away for 5 days) and also she's getting to that age but it still doesnt make it any easier but anyway she's at school now.

Anyway must get on with my office work - will probably be in here all day so egg and chips for tea.

Chipps - well done its a lovely feeling isnt it.
Ageandjo - you can buy fake tanning removal wipes or you could try a really good exfoliate but it will probably take a good couple of days.

Anyway off now have a good day all.

    Morning!

Ive got tonsillitis. I feel a bit rubbish today! I feel achey, moody, and have a temperature. I really must get on with revision too, so im going to park myself on the sofa with the books and do some reading, and take painkillers and plenty of fluids. Ill take some regular breaks too to watch some trashy tv.

I had an idea yesterday now that im on my own, was that id get two boxes to stash under the bed, and fill one with emergency supplies in the event of illness and not being able to leave the house (lucozade, painkillers, lemsip etc) and another one for treats when im feeling bored/generally rubbish, like chocolate, individual face mask sachets etc. I wish id bought lucozade yesterday now as I really want some at the moment!

Anyway, I dont have much else to say really so im off, im going to get more tea, Hope you all have a great day!

    Morning :D

Am at w**k but boss is not in until later this morning :j :j so just as soon as I get off MSE, I'll be able to get loads done with no interruptions!

Got confirmation of freebie tickets for 4 operas over the next 2 months :j and booked some bargain train tickets for next month when I will be heading in a north-westerly direction to visit some chums I acquired in Blackpool ;) (I thought it was going to cost me over £57  but they seem to have released the low-cost fares now and I got it for £25 (2 x £12.50 singles) :j :j

Have promised myself that for the next 2 days I will be looking after myself to make up for doing far too much over the last little while (4 late nights in a row, too much alcohol (not all at once, but cumulatively, IYKWIM), constantly rushing around from one place to the next...). I suppose oversleeping, not having time for the planned fruit juice & porridge, and instead succumbing to the lure of a bacon sandwich was not the best start, hey? ;):D :rotfl:

Breakfast - bason sarnie as above :o
Lunch - Chicken & veg with noodles
Dinner - Cheese & mushroom ravioli with pesto (with broccoli on the side)

PP - sorry you didn't sleep well

Jo - sorry you're not feeling well

Michelle - WTG on your bonus day off! Am trying to think of cunning ways to sabotage the repair work so you can have the rest of the week off, but nothing comes to mind :D

Shez - at least you're in pain in a good cause ;) (Now, I'm wasn't even virtuous enough to climb the stairs to my 2nd floor office this morning - the lift looked soooooo inviting!)

By the way I just had a look at today's birthday stats and it looks like we should all be saying a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET PEA :bdaycake:

Have a good day everybody, see you later
