Well I like to give 'thanks' to other people (and nice if someone had done the same for me) but I definitely miss the avatars more; it was great to see who had posted v easily on some threads. Really hope we are going to get them backfor keeps!

I liked the thanks button being there for 2 reasons:

1) to say thank you to the person who had posted the information which I found useful and

2) it was an easy way to see if I had sent off for an offer/freebie. If my thanks was listed I knew I had already applied and would not apply again. Unfortunately, my memory isn't as good as it was so it was an easy check to make !

Please bring it back - there are so many people who deserve the thanks for taking the time to post. Oh and bring back the avatars too , I could check things alot faster when I could see people's avatars.

I really need the Thanks button to come back, cos my sig must be looking weirder and weirder to newcomers to the site. At least when the Thanks button was there I could plead irony, now it looks as if I will have to plead insanity (or change it, but my imagination ain't that great).
