I didn't realise how much I missed it until it was gone and then back and then gone again. Please bring it back!
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

What IS going on? I like the thanks button because to me it's what gives this site its real community feel - you do feel you are actually touching someone and letting them know their words are appreciated. Somehow, typing thanks isn;t the same, and it does make threads very long if lots of people do it.

Please - can we have an official position on what's happening with it?

I never realised how much I recognised people by their avatars. This is weird.
Is that you really Skintchink & Traf? :D My thanks button is gone again too. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • Hi guys

You've probably noticed the forum's been a bit slow lately. That's why the thanks button and avatars come and go. Taking them away speeds it up (well at least a bit :) ).

I'm pretty sure Webby or Neil has said this before. Perhaps one of the regular forum users could have a look to see if they have and link to that whenever someone asks this question? That'll save the guys having to repeat themselves each time it's asked again. If not, feel free to link to this post.

    Ta :)
