I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackI am claiming for the whoe amount after they failed to pay back the first instalment. I went straight to money claim online. Mobile rainbow filed a partial defence stating that they owe me one instalment but not the whole amount. I rejected this and will here from money claim online shortly for the next bit! You should stop trying to communicate with mobile rainbow as they are not going to pay you any money without a fight. I am just hoping they stay solvent long enough for my claim to go through!0

no its not too late to start the claim process, write a LBA and follow the MCOL process. The only risk is if they go in to liquidation then you wont get your money. But no one can predict when this will happen.
Has anyone checked if there are CCJ's pileing up on MSOLS? how do you check this?:j  :j0 -
Based on the suggestion that MSOLs are about to vanish into the ether I need some advice.
MSOLs have admitted part liability. I know that if I pursued it further I would probably get judgement in my favour, however I am concerned that if they "go under" I will get nothing. So £100 in the hand is better than £300 in the bush so to speak.
All the signs for them going into administration are there - changed business model/website, retrospectively changed terms and conditions published on the site etc.
So Ive practically decided to accept the part claim, however they are asking if they can pay in 2 installments, one on the 28th March and one on the 28th April. Im worried that this is just buying time on their part to allow them to vanish and then Ill be left worse off than if Id not bothered taking action via Money Claims Online..
Advice from Quentin would be appreciated here - there is the option on the form to accept the amount offered by MSOLs but to reject
their payment terms. If I was to take this option and to support my request by stating that MSOLs have had nearly a year to make this payment already and that the amount offered is just under £100, how likely is the court to support my request and to force them to pay the full amount within say 14 days ?
Thanks !0 -
You are being offered the chance to reject their payment terms.
So if you have decided to accept the £100, why not ask for it immediately - pointing out that you have already waited x months.
Then if it hasn't come within 14 days you can decide whether or not to pay for enforcement.0 -
Hi, many thanks for the advice, which I think I will follow.
Do you have any suggestions for how best to phrase the request for immediate payment on the form (eg "I respectfully request...." etc ?)
Thanks.0 -
No need for special language.
Just put something like "in view of the x months I have awaited my money from the original contracted payment date, I would like this money to now be paid to me immediately"0 -
I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashbackAfter sending in my first cashback claim over 2 months ago I have received nothing. I have sent several Emails which mostly go unanswered. I have had one call answered out of 10 and they kept me hanging on the line for 15 min after denying ever receiving my cashback request (It was sent special delivery and signed for).
I want to start legal procedings, but read on this forum that they will be going into administration. Does anyone have any firm evidence of this?
Is there a set process to go through?
Thanks

Mobilerainbow, MOLS Ltd, Bunny Connect are following an example of another company which has not yet quite gone into administration and are trying to resolve the financial issues they currently face.
Mobilerainbow, MSOLS Ltd have made it quite public they are no longer issuing cheques at present due to their financial standing, but are currently in a position to continue trading with very little income/revenue streams.
They are going to see how long they can trade for under the circumstances and see if the pressure will drop and deal with cashback claim on a case by case basis as and when they are received via MCOL.
They are no longer allowed to sell certain networks and have been dropped by several airtime distributors, so the only thing they can do is sell as an affiliate with very small commissions.
They hae only recently set up bunny connect, which is where the commission from affiliate sales revenues is paid, but you have not purchased through this company but MSOLS Ltd.
If you are considering MCOL and want to see how far you get and feel £30 is worth associated risk, then you should do this sooner rather than later.0
