Mobile Rainbow (cashback rating)

Hi ive hooked up with that Mobile Rainbow over a year ago, as every one else i was promised cashback, £87 x3, I got my 1st cashback after a wait and dispute, i also sent in airtime bills that they asked for back in September 2007, Yes i should of got my second cashback in November 2007, But i`m still waiting? I`m here now in Feb 2008 and every time i phone , if i get through, i speak to an asian person who tells me the same rubbish every time i phone (or email) for that matter,
They tell me to wait 10 - 15 working days, But still i wait and never get any where? There con men, they have an address in Watford which is just (so they call it a warehouse) there phone calls are answered in India, (Hey what a good idea) NOT, Just the other day Friday the 15th Feb acctually they told me i`ll receive it in 7 working days, RUBBISH i was also told back at the end of Jan 2008 tha i would defo receive my second cashback on the 15th Feb, RUBBISH, Now its been that long since receiving my second cashback voucher, That i have`nt received, that i have also submitted my 3rd cashback voucher, Now this gets better, i sent recorded deliv, and they signed for it on the 3rd Jan 2008, they kept saying they had`nt received it, RUBBISH, then when i phoned to again chase my second cashback, they tell me that i won`t be getting my 3rd cashback as it was sent in too late??? RUBBISH, they want Oct airtime bill??? But they have it???? DERRRRR,

The only way forard for me with this matter is to seek Legal Help,
Ive been onto Trading Standards who are investigating them, and if need be i will be taking them to Court to et my £175 they owe me,
SO BE WARE OF THESE SHARKS BECAUSE THERE NOT ALL THEY MAKE OUT TO BE....:mad:

I haven't recieved any letter from mobile rainbow or any vouchers saying that i can send bills to claim cashback. What should i do?

You need to check your original ts + cs (I don't think vouchers were required).

Be careful - if you make any mistakes on any claims from them, then all cashback is forfeited.

Hi everyone,

I have also had problems with these losers. To cut a long story short; i purchased my phone March 07' and heard nothing after the 6month claim, after FINALLY reaching them by phone i was told that i had been unsuccessful in making my claim. I followed their terms and conditions and after seeking advice from 'consumer direct', i wrote to them 3 times stating that they were in breach of their terms of contract and informed them that i would be claiming the full amount and will be prepared to comence court proceedings. I posted them copies of everything that i had sent previously along with highlighted copies of the relevent terms and conditions. Consumer direct also advised me that them stating that 'all other claims would not be entertained' was an unfair term under the consumer regulations act.

Anyway i am currently undergoing the court proceedings online at mcol. They have made an acknowledgement to bide more time and are filing a defence for the full amount (£480 + £35 fee).
Will keep you updated of progress!

could anybody please tell me how much it costs to claim through moneyclaimonline,and in the end will i get all of my money back including the money that i would spend on the MCOL??and yes i have send MR a letter saying to give me cashback in 7 days or i will take them to court!!! if anybody has some good tips to get mobile rainbow in the right path instead of making excuses like claim is not valid or sumthing like that please please please tell me!!!

Mobile Rainbow have now agreed full payment of 2 out of 3 claims!

I will now get nearly £300 by 26/03/2008.

The other claim they have part defended as they claim I did not claim for cashback 2 or 3.

I have Royal Mail Recorded Signed For receipts for both of these claims, but Royal Mail are not showing delivery of these letters.

I will take this matter up with Royal Mail as it could cost me over £200.

I am however considering calling the bluff of Mobile Rainbow as my cashback claims 2, 3 & 4 are irrellevant due to their fundamental breach of contract by not paying cashback claim 1 within 45 days.

Does anyone have any experience in this matter?

Does the court accept this fundamental breach of contract, and deem that the full cashback amount is payable?
