does this mean that even customers who took out contracts last year have to send bills in within 21 days?

    1) Phonebox Direct and Coolnewmobile ARE the same company (Mobile Media Systems)

    2) The terms and conditions when you BOUGHT the phone are the only ones which matter.

    3) The Mobile Outlet is a disreputable company which has nothing to do with the other two. Let's just hope they don't follow further in its footsteps!

is there anyone else here who got their fones from CNM around sept 06?

well, i saved a copy of the T&Cs then and on it says cheques will be paid out 28 days (not working days) from receipt. my last 2 cashbacks from them have taken months and i think the current one that i'm awaiting will be no different....

am i allowed to hustle CNM to pay up within 28 days of receipt as per their T&Cs? and if they fail to comply can i then use the MCOL service to get them to pay up? or even use MCOL to claim for all of my remaining cashbacks even?

    thanks for the advice!

sorry but i've just got to rant.... i absolutely hate these callous dealers who make u go thru hell and high water just to have your claim validated and then take their own sweet time to pay out, giving empty apologies time and time again for contravening their own T&Cs. that's why i wanna hold them accountable to their side of the deal.

i too thought that CNM was a respectable company...but their repeated antics and the above comments from other users is really changing my opinion

    okay..end of rant. =)

Do their T&Cs actually say they will pay up within 28 days, or use some vague language like "endeavour"?

Well I'm happy to put up with a certain amount of hassle to save £350 on a phone contract!

Yeh..so am I....my cash backs are taking a good 60 days now....but as long as they arrive, I'm not that bothered.

Sorry about the earlier scare, but i think since that post, we've actually found out that the address HAS changed, My friend phoned CNM about this, and was told they would make an announcement re the address change

it says in my saved copy of T&Cs:
"We will settle valid claims by cheque within 28 days of recipt"

leadhead...are you saying that the new address will be different from the PO Box 8895 Bingham, Nottingham one?
