Lost over £700 because of SUSPICIOUS circumstances. CNM claim they did not receive my complete bill though the WHOLE bill was posted recorded delivery.
Interesting that the same has happened to my wife who has had her cashback rejected on the SAME DAY though her WHOLE bill was sent in a different envelope Recorded Delivery.
CNM have gone into a new low now. Claiming a bill is missing is one thing but to claim that a sheet is missing is something else -WHEN IT WAS DEFINITELY SENT- and what can we do to prove they received it - NOTHING! Absolutely nothing. Please BEWARE - You have been WARNED.b

Take them to court. You have recorded delivery receipt - that is proof. Trust me - it will work. I did that once - I won the case. You have copies of the bill you sent - that is PROOF.

I've contacted CNM today as my claim is now at the 28 day stage and my cheque should be received as per my original T&C's as of 20/01/07.
I have been infomed by Kelly that all is ok with my claim and that I should receive payment in around 45 working days.
I pointed out that my original contract stated that I would be paid within 28 days and was told that the T&C's have been changed and will apply to all contracts and that they have the right to change the T&C's.
I asked Kelly to supply this in writing and was told that they don't do this as they are a "paperless" company????????????????
Consumer Direct have passed this on to Trading Standards who are now investigating and I'm awaiting their reply to see what my next move will be.

Taking out a contract with CNM??????????????????????????????

    BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If their T&Cs changed they should have informed you in writing and given that they haven't in this case, they will need to prove that they did send you the copy especially if it reaching the court.

I got my payment today - for my 11 April invoice!!! Only 2 weeks after I sent the next claim :)

Please don't go round suggesting they may be in financial difficulties, they still owe me 288 and sister company phone box direct owe me 420 so I'd rather rumours of their demise didn't lead to new orders drying up and therefore becoming self-fulfilling
    I think....

Sounds like they are heading the same way as Mobileshop.com! I sent in my 2nd claim nearly a week ago and I still have not received the money for my 1st claim.

    Diary of events

    27/04/07 - 1st claim form posted 1st class unrecorded

08/05/07 - Email: "Thank you for remitting your cash back claim paperwork. It has been submitted on to our system today"

23/05/07 - Email: "We can confirm your claim is now being assessed, and we will have your paperwork despatched within 28 working days"

15/06/07 - Email: "We can confirm your claim has now been assessed and everything is in order. I have authorised this claim for payment and we will forward it to our cheque processing centre. They will contact you in the next 10 working days and let you know when your cheque is expected to arrive with you"

22/06/07 - Email: "Your paperwork was passed to us to write out your 1st claim cheque. I am happy to say that your cheque will be sent out in the next 10 working days."

    02/07/07 - 2nd claim form posted 1st class unrecorded

Today (07/07/07) - No money received for 1st claim, no e-mail acknowledgement for 2nd claim - absolutely diabolical!

It certaily loooks like they are heading in the WRONG direction.
I'm disgusted by their attitude and was hoping for something better after the Mobileshop fiasco, which at this moment doesn't actually look as bad as it seems. Maybe I should have stuck with the "Devil I know".
I can't beleive they can amend the original contract mid-term, but who knows???????????? Even Consumer Direct aren't fully sure if they have "covered" themselves and I will have to wait until Trading Standards investigate, rather than just "wading in".
Maybe more peolple need to contact Trading Standards especially with the above problems when they say that the bills etc. are missing. It would do no wrong to build up a case history with these cowboys.
Incidentally, since my complaint to them, I have now received 2 emails. One stating all was ok with my claim and the other stating my claim has arrived at the processing centre.

    1st email;
    Hi,
I can see everything was received fine. Based on the date of receipt
your cheque will be despatched with in the next 4 to 5 weeks. We
    apologise
    for
the delays we are encountering at the moment, however we are
    endeavouring
to get payments out sooner if possible.

Please send your next claim as usual.

    Kind Regards
    Mobile Affiliates

    2nd email
We can confirm your claim has arrived at our processing centre and has
been scheduled for assessment. We will update you by email when your
claim has been authorised for payment.

Are you completely mad? How many times have we been urged on this thread to spend a few pence and queue up at the Post Office to send these things recorded delivery? It's the easiest thing in the world for them to claim they didn't receive it if you don't do this, and this thread is also littered with examples of people to whom this has happened.

Consider this: effectively your first claim is worth your entire cashback amount, with subsequent claims reducing accordingly, because they refuse all subsequent claims after a problem.

Could anyone who has successfully received their last cashback on a Three contract which they have cancelled please let me know how they went about it? My bills are dated 10th of the month but Three are going to cancel on 8th because they say that will be exactly one year. Will this be OK with CNM or should I play safe and go for another month?

Of course, Three are known to call you at the last minute to give you a deal you can't refuse, so in that case it won't be applicable!
