are you sure yours isnt PO Box 8895, as that postcode applies to that PO Box on my claims form.
Thanks Bassman it is 8895 on my form, 896 was on the address someone else gave. Thanks Mobilejunkie for your reply too.You probably all know this, but for old terms and conditions and details of old offers etc, you should be able to view all the old web pages you have looked at in internet explorer. Unfortunately my files seem to have been deleted just after February. My memory may be playing tricks, but I thought my deal was advertised as #420 cashback whereas the anual line rent was #367.50 due to the first 3 months being half price. Does snyone know if that was a new offer that came out around February? I rang three and they could not tell me! Don't want to ask coolnewmobile because I do not want them to know that I do not know what deal I should have. although they may well monitor this thread(paranoid or what) I probably would if I was them. Anyway if even if $20 was advertised, the deal was supposed to be one years line rental cash back, so whatever was advertised I think 367.50 is the correct amount imo even if that was a special offer, I do not want to be greedy, just want my free years line rental.0 -
3 deals are normally with a half price rental for the first 3 months. I took out mine in January and the £367.50 is what I claim.

They are BAST*rds,,,,,,,, I know its in the terms, but if you send one bill a little to early they cancel the WHOLE cashback! the lot...... they say you messed up the terms sorry....
very hard.... I cant stand them...it can cost you lots.

Yes, they are; I reckon they should give people like you who don't follow their terms and conditions (despite being ABLE to read them BEFORE you enter into a contract) ALL your money. After all, then they will go bust and the rest of us who DO follow the t&c and bother to work it all out won't gte the free deals. If you don't like the t&c or understand them, or can;t be bothered to follow them - Tough! Wihinge by all means when it's THEIR fault, but blame the guilty party when it isn't; YOU!0
-
Yep! I agree its my fault.... but..just pointing out to people that if they get the first bill wrong..... the scrap the whole thing, the lot!

I know it's annoying - I'd be extremely annoyed and unforgiving at myself. However, when I read things accusing the company of being unfair or (more usually) some sort of con-artists I find it actually misleading to people. The terms and conditions are clear from the start (though I DO dislike their recent changes and - more - the fact they haven't identified the new ones from the old ones so people who didn't take a copy when they ordered might have a problem - albeit of their own making). I actually think companies like cpw are MORE dishonest, even though they are safe, because their marketing is all based on a total falsehood. I use both companies repeatedly and will put up with so much rubbish, but where my cashback is concerned I am extremely particular to cover my bases and understand it as fully as possible before I make a mistake. Thus far I've only made one and that didn't prevent the cashbacks. You will find NO companies who won't catch you out and deny your cashback IF you want a totally FREE deal BUT aren;t prepared to make sure you get it right, I'm afraid. It's a game and if you're good at it and have a small amount of luck it's not THAT hard to win.0

Lost over £700 because of SUSPICIOUS circumstances. CNM claim they did not receive my complete bill though the WHOLE bill was posted recorded delivery.
Interesting that the same has happened to my wife who has had her cashback rejected on the SAME DAY though her WHOLE bill was sent in a different envelope Recorded Delivery.
CNM have gone into a new low now. Claiming a bill is missing is one thing but to claim that a sheet is missing is something else -WHEN IT WAS DEFINITELY SENT- and what can we do to prove they received it - NOTHING! Absolutely nothing. Please BEWARE - You have been WARNED.b0 -
Oh dear.
Incidentally, you don't have to post the whole bill: just the first sheet (showing phone number and total charge). It would be a little harder for them to claim that they had received an empty envelope rather than the first page missing, but of course they could still do it.
I hope you have reported this to Trading Standards.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
I've contacted CNM today as my claim is now at the 28 day stage and my cheque should be received as per my original T&C's as of 20/01/07.
I have been infomed by Kelly that all is ok with my claim and that I should receive payment in around 45 working days.
I pointed out that my original contract stated that I would be paid within 28 days and was told that the T&C's have been changed and will apply to all contracts and that they have the right to change the T&C's.
I asked Kelly to supply this in writing and was told that they don't do this as they are a "paperless" company????????????????
Consumer Direct have passed this on to Trading Standards who are now investigating and I'm awaiting their reply to see what my next move will be.
Taking out a contract with CNM??????????????????????????????
BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, this same thing just happened to me today! I received a letter saying the 2nd page of mi bill (containing tariff details) was missing, therefore they were not paying!!!!!!!!!!
I am absolutely sure I posted all the pages from the bill as I always photocopy them, count them and then staple them together and I send them recorded. This is obviously bull***
Incidentally, this was my last claim, and I have successfully received all other 4, if a bit late.
The same, i cannot prove it was sent, but I am furious at having to give up my last installement. Definitely dodgy, and I was about to recommend them!
I am thinking they are in financial difficulties, that is why they were sending payments out very very late; and now not paying at all!
