Hi first post.......
I have been trawling for a deal and the best I can find with full 12-month refund by redemption is with coolnewmobile. This is a 12-month contract and they have this deal with O2 & 3.
https://www.coolnewmobile.co.uk
Currently I am with 3 and obtained my PAC code today ready for the move. I have been sending my vouchers back to Dial-A-Phone this last year for 1/2 price line rental without any problems, so I would recommend them, but…….
1,who are "cnm"?
2,has anyone had dealings with them?
3,will they pay back the line rental?
Many thanks look forward to your thoughts or advise...........

Yeah T&C's look ok for the older phones they offer 12 month 1/2 price on 12 month contract......but the newer better phones are for 1/2 price over 7 months and once again the cashback only gets FULLY paid to you at month 12 and if youve already d/g then you dont get it!0

They are part of a larger group (4u Ltd I think).
I also took out the 12 month full refund with them a couple of months back. Unfortunately I haven't reached the first redemption stage yet so can't comment on how reliable they are.
However, I have no complaints with how they processed my order. It was pretty quick and I got £32 cashback when signing up.
One point to be wary of though is that if you fail to claim any of the installments, this renders you inelligible for any of the future installments as well (from T&C's). This is not the case with some of the other dealers but I thought it was worth the risk for the chance of 12 months free phone usage.0 -
Cool New Mobile are an online brand of Phone Box Direct, which is an independent dealer of 4u (Part of Dextra Solutions, a Caudwell Group company) so you would expect them to be fairly reliable.0

although they are trading through a big company, always read their terms and conditions on their site.
I have never bought through these guys so cant comment as to whether the cashback will / won't be paid.0 -
Hi Moneysavers
I have seen the Motorola V220 on a 12 months FREE line rental on a 12 month contract. Its £30 a month and you get it back in 5 cashback installments. You get 200 x net mins and 100 sms texts each month on the 02 network.
On the face it seems a good deal.
Has anyone dealt with this organisation before? do they pay up on time? is there any hidden costs? Is there a better deal than this?
Many Thanks0 -
Merging with previous thread about this company.0

I bought this package from them and they added on the 3 months free insurance even though I specifically ticked the box saying 'Please tick the following box if you do not want the 3 months free insurance'.
When the insurance documents arrive, I have to cancel my direct debit with my bank and ring this number 01252 788300 to cancel it (instead of the 0870 number given!). The recorded message says that you have to write to cancel but if you do not press any option, you will get transferred to an operator who will cancel it for you immediately, followed by written confirmation.
Cashback claim procedure is very stringent as you have to claim in 5 instalments instead of the usual 3. Failure to claim any instalment within 1 month will void all future instalments and render them not payable!
If you are happy to strictly adhere to cashback claim procedures as detailed below:

by all means go for it.0 -

I would treat these with caution but do not have personal experience of the company - they are not part of 4u Ltd or Caudwell but a "trading partner" which I suspect means they are "supplied by" which does not give me the same sense of confidence as 4u/Caudwell are on the biggest distributors of mobile phones to independent retailers. In the event that CoolNewMobiles/Phoneboxdirect went out of business, I suspect that you would not get your cashback as the contract is with them not 4u.

I took out a 12 month cash back o2 deal and had to work hard to get the cash back forms they only send them if you ask!
Got ym wife one too and used me as the referral for a £20 cashback. I didn't think it would ever come but I got a massive surprise when I got a hand written cheque for £20 from them yesterday - it took over 3 months to come. I was getting ready to send the cash back forms + mobile bill copy special delivery - photocopy the lot and then do through the courts to get the cashback but i'm feeling a bit more confident now! who knows - they may pay up!!!!0
