Hi! Just been looking at this site too, through Pricedashs' mobiles page.
Bit scary after only being used to pay as you go, but looks really 'cool'. Must say I am tempted. But can anyone please explain this 'cashback' system.....Do you pay up front and get your money back later?0 -
I had the same experience, when I bought 12 month contract from cnm, but I rang their customer services that I didn't opt out to take mobile insurance. They said we will look at into the system and said cancell it which I did. did your redemption cheque arrived within 14 days?0

I have found this from them.
They claim to have 12 months free line rental + £60 extra cash back.0 -
I have objection to the cash back T&C as mentioned on the coolnewmobile website. What happens when one change their address for example a student like me who has changed 6 places in last 4 years .Then if u forget to claim any part of the cash back then it is the RIP of further cash back claims .Subject to you having remained connected on the original price plan chosen for the mandatory period, we will send you a cheque for the relevant amount of cash back within 14 days, directly to your home address using the account details supplied with your original order.
Please Note: -
Cash back offers do not apply if you have been disconnected from the network or changed your service plan within the first 120 days of your initial billing date(180 days for T-Mobile). Where a valid claim has not been received by us within one calendar month of the required bill, you will not be entitled to any part of the Cash Back offered. Cash back files are closed and cannot be reopened in these cases.0 -
i ordered a phone , 12month free contract from coolnewmobile.co.uk last weds, i never got any emails from them, i do have an order no.
now its monday and still no phone or comunication from them.
sounds very dodgy to me, they arent answering my emails, just wanted to warn people they arent customer friendly....
im canceling my order now...
anyone else had probs with this small company ?0 -
Just to give the contrasting view - I had a 12 month free deal with them. Got the phone and all the rental refunds back from them without a problem, though I do remember the phone was slow to be delivered.
Just like all companies I guess, fine with one customer and shoddy with the next
Bad Luck

Personally I wouldn't get involved in a company with the word "Cool" in the name (unless they provided some sort of cooling).0

So are you saying that Currys (the electrical retailer owned by DSG), should be selling curry(ies), (the Indian sort)? and The Link also owned by DSG should be selling things like chains, similar stuff you get down the hardware stores like B&Q? :rotfl::rotfl:
Back to the OP's question. I have bought a contract off them in Dec 05. In my experience I found their service to be quite quick, ordered the phone early in the morning, dispatched after 1pm.There may be a few reasons why you haven't received your phone yet. It could be that emails are in your spam box? Manual credit checks?? Backlog of orders?? Out of stock?
You should have recieved an email soon after you submitted your order from their site. Check your spam box to see emails from them have been sent there instead. If you have set your junk box to delete when email is in there then you might have missed it and you should change this option so that in future, if you miss any emails from your main inbox then you can check your spam box to see if any mail is in there. If you haven't done so already then you might need to add their email address to your safe list or contacts so that mail can be hopefully delivered to your inbox next time.I agree they should update you as the customer for piece of mind, but your email might have got filtered off into their junk box as I'm sure that the company will receive lots of email, both genuine and spam so it mite have been filtered as spam. Did you email them on this:AFTER SALES QUERIES Email: care.fulfilment@4ultd.com If you have the facility on your email account, mark it either "urgent" or "flag" it or put in the subject line "Update" then it might be answered instead of it being filtered to their spam box???If you want a quicker response there is a phone number but it's a NGN number and will cost a bit to call from landline, more from a mobile that is not using your inclusive minutes i.e. on o2, Customer Care: 0870 010 1356 (Mon-Fri 9AM to 6PM, Sat - Closed)
Any let us know how you get on.0 -

You could try (thanks to saynoto0870.com):
01949 823901 or 01270 412304
PS I am interested in any feedback on this company as they have a 'cool' offer on 3 T&T 900 - LG 8380 free for a year (12 month contract).Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -
