Thanks. I started the contract on 27th Feb/connected 27th Feb? Is the 9th Jun bill aright then? I just want a second opinion..0
-
Hi Scribes no it's not. You will only have been connected for 120 days on 26th June. Therefore you need to send your bill dated 9th July.
Your other dates are as follows:
180 days = 25/08/07 therefore 09/09/07 bill
240days = 24/10/07 therefore 09/11/07 bill
300 days = 23/12/07 therefore 09/01/08 bill
360 days = 21/02/08 therefore 09/03/08 bill

Hi Scribes.
Er... that's what I did say - "the 9th June bill would be within 120 days". i.e. it's not AFTER 120 days of connection!
It's really not that difficult; I think if you're going to go for these deals and not end up losing a lot of money you'll need to read the t&c VERY carefully indeed!0 -
I've heard of someone getting cashback after failing to claim a previous claim.
Is this true?
can anyone confirm this?
thanks0 -
Quick update got this email yesterday
Your paperwork was passed to us to write out your 5th claim cheque. I am happy
to say that your cheque will be sent out in the next 10 working days.
Kind Regards
Cool New Mobile
Will let you know how it goes.

A friend has just had his recorded delivery claim form returned to him unopened today, with "unable to deliver" addressee gone away" ticked on the form
hope this is a Royal Mail error, anyone else had this
RANG ROYAL MAIL...........royal mail said...........
POSTMAN UNABLE TO DELIVER AS COMPANY NOT THERE
beware anyone taking anything out with Phonebox Direct, as they appear to be the same company.

looks a bit dodgy doesnt it.
Addendum...an hour after posting this i have just received my 3rd cheque....but have doubts whether it will clear now
See following posts...which may explain this....Couponing....."every little hurts"

I have just called them. Although I believe they are represented by a third party on Saturdays, I was given clear information which I hope is correct!
Apparently they recently moved offices and the correct address to send claims to for both companies is in fact the Phonebox Direct one. Specifically:-
Mobile Media Systems Ltd
PO Box 8896
Bingham
Nottingham
NG13 8XT
I'd be very interested in your friends' result and any others since I'll be sending my first Coolnewmobile claim in July and am about to order another contract plus one for a friend! Although the address is only slightly different and you'd have thought they'd have notified existing customers about the change I'm not too worried. I've always found them quite helpful, so I live in positive hope!0 -
Ps
"Claims Department" should be line 2 for the above address!0 -

JUST SPOKE TO MY FRIEND....the address he sent it to(and all his previous) was a Cotgrove Nottingham address................
This could be the reason
He has received all his previous claims, and the Cotgrove address is the one on his returns form
Sorry if ive caused an incorrect scare here......Couponing....."every little hurts"

No worries for me; better a scare to check out that blissfully unaware of a potential problem, so thanks anyway!!0
