Got my 2nd cashback 17th May received by CNM 12th March. Think it was only despatched after I sent another e-mail pointing out that last promise I had been given had not been honoured. No acknowledgement yet for 3rd claim that they received 10th May.

Yes, this seems to be the current trend, but ive always had replies to my emails.

Hi i'm a bit worried. I sent my form back on the 10th may but when I went to the Royal Mail track and trace, put in my recorded mail ref no. and it comes up with the following, which makes me think that it hasn't been delivered yet?! I mean it should show the signature otherwise right??

Your item has reached the delivery office and is out for delivery.

We can confirm that your item left the delivery office this morning and should arrive shortly if it hasn’t been delivered already. "

I've had the same. Their system is broken. Call them (use SayNoTo0870) and they will tell you when it was delivered and who signed for it (assuming the signature's legible).

How I wish I’d found this forum a month ago…!

I’ve just submitted my first claim to coolnewmobile & unfortunately only got proof of posting. Having e-mailed them they have stated that they have not received my claim & it is now null & void.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of complaining to OFTEL / trading standards though this may be pointless.

Anyone else had an envelope disappear?

I doubt you can do anything I'm afraid, and even worse, you have lost every subsequent cashback too. Read previous postings for people who have experienced the same.

I have checked coolnew mobile's t&c today, (I am affected as well) waiting for 5th installment, they have changed from 28 days to 45 working days!

"Cheque Payments
We try to settle valid claims by cheque within 45 working days of receipt, directly to your home address using the account details supplied with your original order. If a cheque we send to you is lost in the post, we will check with our bank that it hasn't been cashed and we will replace this cheque after it has been missing for 30 days. "

i think the T&Cs that were in place at the time of your purchase will apply rather than these new terms which they've just instituted...

so by right if they've exceeded 28 working days, they're late regardless of what these new T&Cs say

5th and last claim for 1st contract was confirmed on 23rd May. Guessing the cheque will find its way to me end of July beginning of Aug. will let you know when I have it.
