I'm now starting to doubt if cashback payments will be made in anything like timescale quoted. My first cashback was a few days past 28 working days which was acceptable. Second one which is acknowledged as being valid  is now 42 working days and according to the Customer Service agent I spoke to earlier (who sounded very down) it'll be another 7 to 10 working days, because she would now ask Finance to process the cheque. 50 - 60 working days is not good, yet their terms for new sign ups still quote 28 working days.

I sent them the email as detailed above chasing. Two days later my cheque has arrived! RESULT.

I agree its harsh treatment but the terms and conditions are clear, its a very good offer and I have more free minutes and texts on my 3 contract than I can ever use in month.

All for free, more or less via the cash back, if you are a methodical and serious money saver its an all round winner.

Just a shame they are so harsh on customers who fail to meet the terms and conditions and yet so lax to apply them to themselves.
    Nice to save.

I have been using CNM for about 2 years and up to know they have been great. Have had no problems until this month. Didn't send my claim recorded delivery and they are saying they haven't rec'd it - no s**t !!!!! Lesson learnt! Next step is to report them to Trading Standards for investigation, as I have close links with them. What I need is for everyone who has sent them a claim and CNM have responded by saying not rec'd to PM me with your details. Name, Address, date sent etc. When I have this list I will contact Trading Standards with the evidence. Don't let them get away with this scam!

I can't do this alone if you are in the same predicament and you want something done about it - PM me with your details..

You don't even have to do that - just type the number into Royal Mail's website and see a picture of the signature.

Wheres the scam, if unfortunately you choose not to play by the rules, then you'll lose....I'm not condoning what they are doing, they must be hitting hard times....but if i lose mine through my own fault, i dont think i'd be moaning about it.

Sorry to sound harsh, but those that dont follow the TandC's are how they make any money.......and the way that those do follow the rules, keep getting their rebates

Sorry - you confused me by referring to Royal Mail as the Post Office.

I took out an Orange contract via Carphone Warehouse in the autumn and was due my first cashback cheque following the February bill. I sent all the necessary paperwork to the correct address (Dunstable) on 1 March. When I hadn't heard anything more by end April I phoned them only to discover that they claim not to have received the papers at all.

I have therefore sent everything again (thank goodness I sent a copy of the bill, not the original).

However, even if it is received this time, I gather it takes up to 60 days to send out the cheque because "they are not produced in this country"...

Am I the only person having such problems with CPW?

Repeat after us... you need to send the fifth bill - that is four after the first bill you received very soon after you were connected.
