Wheres the scam, if unfortunately you choose not to play by the rules, then you'll lose....I'm not condoning what they are doing, they must be hitting hard times....but if i lose mine through my own fault, i dont think i'd be moaning about it.

Sorry to sound harsh, but those that dont follow the TandC's are how they make any money.......and the way that those do follow the rules, keep getting their rebates

Leadhead you don't work for CNM do you? I wish I was as rule abiding as you. Judging by the posts from members on this Forum is seems very coincidental that "letters just go missing" - that's the Scam! Had it been only mine then yes I would probably feel that it had gone missing. I have accepted that it was my fault, but don't agree that they should be able to do this whenever they feel like it, because honest people are being ripped off.

    Hi Gromit

Sorry for being a divvy but I don't recall getting Jack from Vodaphone other than the direct debit letter in Dec - thereafter I've had bills Jan 22nd, Feb19th, Mar21st and now April 19th.
It's just that everyone else seems to have got there 5th bill as you call it past the 120 day mark - mine is virtually bang on.

I'll send this one in, April 19th, if it's too early I only get £10 off.

Sorry - I didn't realise the situation was different for some customers.

You could always try ringing them - it seems they answer sometimes!

Or you could try emailing first - you have at least a fortnight's grace.

I received an email on the 20th March advising that I would receive payment or rejection within 28 days, but I've heard nothing.

I tried calling but it just cuts off.

I took out an Orange contract via Carphone Warehouse in the autumn and was due my first cashback cheque following the February bill. I sent all the necessary paperwork to the correct address (Dunstable) on 1 March. When I hadn't heard anything more by end April I phoned them only to discover that they claim not to have received the papers at all.

I have therefore sent everything again (thank goodness I sent a copy of the bill, not the original).

However, even if it is received this time, I gather it takes up to 60 days to send out the cheque because "they are not produced in this country"...

Am I the only person having such problems with CPW?

    V

It doesn't usually take 60 days, normally they send them out within 30 days but I suppose they can if they want take up 60 days if they wish.

Did you send the bill via recorded/special delivery?

Cheques not produced in this country? The cheques I receive from CPW all states "HSBC - London" on it.

I said I didnt condone it, but if you were "as rule abiding" as me, in this case, you'd possibly have got your money.

It is all wrong, but the TandC's clearly request Recorded Delivery.

I break lots of rules everyday, but (hopefully) not ones that will cost me money.

Soooo - if I send everything recorded delivery and at the right time, is it worth going for Cool New Mobile or overall too much risk?

Nobody can possibly answer that - apart from the directors of Mobile Affiliates, perhaps, and probably not even them.

Hi, youve asked this question on the wrong thread, this one deals purely with CNM, I'm sure you'd get an answer on a CPW thread.....

but does it not indicate that you have to use recorded delivery, and send the "original bill" ...............but regardless I can't answer your reply anyway.....
