The trouble is that past performance is no indicator of future performance. If they are feeling the pinch, they'll start to delay payment etc, and from what's been written here recently I'm getting a bit worried.

does the email you receive specifically use the word "cheque"? i've received an email from them informing me that "the paperwork" will arrive in 28 days...now i dunno, but to me that sounds awfully vague...as in paperwork could refer to the cheque, but could also refer to a letter of rejection etc...

btw, its my first claim with CNM hence i'm not very familiar with the proceedings!

Don't worry, they don't say "cheque". I'm sure it's deliberately vague...

Finally received 3rd cheque (of 5) today. First thing I checked was whether it was signed!

Paperwork delivered to CNM on 24 Jan.
Paperwork received confirmation email 29 Jan.
Cheque will be sent in next few days email 16 Feb.
Email queries 7 Mar, 13 Mar - no response from CNM.
Phone query 15 Mar - cheque promised for "next week".
    Today's cheque dated 13 Mar.

    So relieved!

Next bill/claim is due any day now! OH reckons it's their way of confusing you.

Sent for my first cashback 2 months ago. They have confirmed all documents are in order and I shall get my chq next week. Well "next week" never comes, as I have been chasing up for 6 weeks now, to be told the same b***sh** every time.

The latest is my chq is being despatached and will be with me end of next week. How long does it take to despatach a chq???

They told me to originally wait 28 days. I did allow that before my first chase up call, only to be told wait 28 WORKING DAYS. That also has now exceeded. Anybody else have any experience with them. WilL I get my chq. My next cashback is now due. I would love to hear from anybody who has dealt with CNM. Thanks.

My first cheque took a month.
Second two months (but included Christmas and New Year hols).
Third (received yesterday) also took 2 months. (Posted in CoolNewMobile thread).
  • last year i entered a contract with 3 for £40/month 750 mins talk +150texts and £35/month cashback. it seemed like a no brainer apart from the risk that coolnewmobile would go bust.
I dont use the phone much and most of the credit remains but the contract ends next week.
they have just called me to ask if i want to upgrade or continue.
what is best? i dont want to lose the credits. i dont want a new phone but i do want to stay connected but not at £40/month.
