Would be good if those who didn't got paid within 45 working days too! Not likely without a fight though!0

I have bombarded them with emails over the past week. Persistence pays off.
I can only advise anyone who has a contract with CNM to keep emailing them about 7 days before your payment date and don't accept the "due to the high level of claims at this time ect "answer. They get fed up when you send about 5 a day !!

Excellent news Bob.
My meter is running with them - claim received 2/10, so not long now for my 28 working days.
Half way there already !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another tactic would be to allow them enough rope.....
Don't chase them at all, then when they have breached the contract commence the well documented legal proceedings for the whole amount owing.0 -

I can foresee problems with that tactic. If you don't remind them of their obligations under your contract with them and go straight to moneyclaim, they could argue it was a mistake on their part, pay the cashback and not the court fee. A judge might not be so sympathetic if there had not been any correspondence to resolve the dispute.
Only my opinion. I would rather give them the chance to pay within the stipulated time.

No - a contract is a contract.
Do they send us reminders to get claims to them on time?
(And you should issue a letter before action prior to issuing a moneyclaim)0 -
n6600,
I will send u pm tomm. As mobilejunkie says do not contact CNM in any way. Also if your nickname on this site can in any way be linked with your true identity I would suggest you delete info u have posted relating to your problem. Hopefully the letter has been delivered in any event and it is just a case of the royel mail site being in error.
Quentin,
'rope' ahhhaaa that explains it, you are a hangman!! No Mercy!!!!
Seriously though has anybody actually got the lot because of a late chq breach? I know a few people seem to be getting to that stage.0 -

Agree you should issue a LBA before court, that is my point you are giving them a chance to comply, that is what a LBA is.

I learnt from the forum and CNM terms and conditions that CNM is now accepting photocopied bill. Is this true? Is it only apply to new customers?0
