 Morning Queenie, good to see you this morning! Hope you're well!

The tanning lotion is working really well - 4 applications so far (one each day)and I am looking not quite so 'glarish' as before, well Mr Frizz no longer needs sunglasses when I strip off! :D

The 200ml is reduced from £4.99 to £2.39 in Boots, whilst the 400ml is reduced from £6.99 to £4.99 in Superdrug. :j

Gorgeous sunny day here - I've even stuck my washing out on the line - first time this year.

Off to work this afternoon. Have a great day everyone! :D

Morning Shez. I can only apply it when I'm wearing black. Glad to hear I'm not the only pasty one, my legs look like corned beef so I am gradually building up for the warm skirt wearing weather - if it ever arrives! :D

I am really noticing a change though and it doesn't seem quite as whiffyas bog standard fake tan and its a lot more fool proof - no streaks!!!! :D

Sorry you had a bad night Glad, hope you get chance for some rest this afternoon before work.

Have a great day all! :D

Oh Glad :(:( Sorry to read you had a bad night, not like you at all ((hugs)) Hope you manage to get forty winks later in the day before work tonight.

Oh yes, named jumpers :rotfl: Do people still do those these days?

On a sadder note, just heard the radio, that following a house fire, a little girl has gone missing :(:(:( Her brother has died in the fire, the mother and baby escaped, but out there somewhere is a little girl. :(:(:( Just given my boys a big fat bear hug.

Thank goodness that thanks to tootles recent post, I was prompted to check our smoke detectors!!!

    Go check yours!!!!!!

    Good morning everybody,

DGS & ex DIL have just left. They spent the arv here & had tea. I think I am looking after him tomorrow morning at 7.30am so will need to be organised just in case. Busy day at w**k today. Well today was the day I was suppose to hear about the house but no word. I'm hoping no news is good news. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow arv I will ring up our solicitor. Hopefully I will have some good news to tell you all tomorrow. 17_1_10.gif

I felt quite bad today as everybody had bought me an easter egg at work and boss has given us each a ham as well. Scabby little me never gave it a thought so came in empty handed. I would normally have *pretended* I had forgotten and made a dash for the shops tonight and went in tomorrow bearing gifts. ;) But DD on the way to work tomorrow is taking her car in for a service and I have no way of getting into town. We live quite a distance away. They are also taking me out to lunch next Wednesday. Bosses shout. :D Actually, come to think of it I'll give them a gift then. Maybe all the chocs will be reduced then. :rotfl:4_2_111v.gifBad thought.

You girls and your fake tans. I have the real thing. :DVickyA sounds like grandpa is on the mend if he notices he can't get a word in edgeways. I've forgotten everybody's posts. :o But you all have a nice day & bye for now.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning everybody :hello:

Overslept this morning and didn't wake up until 8:40  Didn't think I was that tired  Anyway, I normally leave the house for work at 8:00! So after a lightning session with deodorant, toothbrush, hairbrush and clothes I was out of the house by 8:47 :D and I knew my boss was going to the dentist before work so it was just a question of getting in before her ;) I got in at 09:42, she got in at 09:47, and what she doesn't know won't hurt her :D;)

Didn't have time for brekkie though so will just have to be hungry till lunchtime! :( (oh well, I've promised myself a takeaway bacon sarnie tomorrow  )

Frizz - thanks from me too about the tanning lotion tip-off. Not sure whether I'll try it but it's certainly a thought. I've never tried ANY fake tan because my natural skin tone is soooooo snowy white that I'm always worried it'll look a bit weird (I tend to be one of those women who swans around in wide-leg cotton trousers all summer rather than exposing my legs which are paler than anybody else's I've ever met)! Does it have an SPF rating?

pawpurrs - happy birthday for yesterday!

VickyA - your grandpa sounds like a character :D:D I hope you enjoy your day in London. One of my friends who I know from the Proms used to commute daily from Peterborough several times a week during Proms season  It became a bit of a financial burden when he became too old for a Young Person's Railcard - but then he met his fiancee who lives in London, found a new job, and now he's sorted ;)

Morning to everybody else :D :hello:

Breakfast - nothing :( (see above)
Lunch - last portion of chicken pasta bake
Dinner - one of my legendary sausage casseroles :D for which I need to buy the veggies on my way home.

    Rzl xx

Morning all, you have all been busy this morning! There's so many threads I can't remember who has said what.

So hugs to all that need them.

PP you must be feeling like a pin cushion by now?

The weather is beautiful and I'm itching to get out on the garden, trouble is I don't like leaving the kids alone in the house and DS is refusing to get up and DD has gone back into her room to watch tv and colour. Normally she insists on being wherever I am so trust her to do this on a day I need to do the gardening.

DH is asleep as he is at work tonight, I have put the washing out to dry, another load into the machine and got some turkey out of the freezer ready to make a pie for tea. I'm still just slowly tootling and taking lots of breaks as DH is worried that I will overdo things and put myself back in bed again. Some good news for tomorrow, although I still have to take the children to hospital with me in the morning the rest of the day is free as my sister has offered to take Dad for his appointment instead, so at least I can get some more gardening done then if the weather is good :)
