On the subject of knitted jumpers with names in them some of us can go one better thanks to the Girl Guide Association knitting pattern with the promise badge and the letters G and G either side on the back and the promise badge either side of the zip up front - thanks for that..............
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

I can pogo better than any of them :D:D:D

I'm pretty sure the third star appears from your 551st post onwards

Then the fourth one is somewhere about the 2000 mark and the fifth is lots later!

    Afternoon peeps

Started off really sunny here so was going to do some gardening (read sitting in the sun reading a book) but its gone all cloudy now and my heatings back on:eek:

I have spent the morning trying to negotiate decent deals on hotels for me for the next couple of weeks of sales calls i need to do - its amazing what you can save just by asking for a cheaper deal.
This afternoon Im supposed to be writing an article on motivation - but just cannot get the motivation:D  I am the worlds worst at procrastination and can always find something much more interesting to do than the one thing i should be doing:rolleyes:

I have got some veg soup in the SC though and its totally mine (no sauces honest) mind you the veg were pre prepared packs :o but the soup is to make sure i dont waste it all. Good job im back in a hotel next week cos my slow cooker is only used to appearing once a year for a clean and this is the second time in a week;) This board definitely gets to you after a while !!

Rage - Welcome back:j. The meet is gonna be fab you have to come along - we are all v excited now its gonna be great to put faces to usernames.

Right thats it i really do need to get back to w**k
Hugs to everyone who would like one

I still have my guide uniform and my brownie uniform as well as my guider one. Now 40 (cough splutter) when I was in my early 20s we had a fancy dress party and I could get into my brownie uniform (either I was very thin then or I was round as a child can't decide) - all my brownies ( I was Snowy Owl at this point of the Pack I'd been in) thought it hilarious!!!! And I got a special prize from the District Commissioner for "bravery"........... :D

snowyowl - start keeping a diary of everything your boss says or does out of line to you. also note things like the tea break incident as all staff should be treated the same. note date, time, witnesses etc - better to be forearmed.
