Of course; it's even better when you get them to think it was actually their idea in the first place!

You're a braver woman than me. If I know there's chocolate in the house it gets eaten. End of. On the other hand there are 16 bottles of wine that have been gathering dust under my stairs since February, so I'm doing quite well at this not drinking lark.

Ahhh, well then you got yourself a bargain [STRIKE]Sir Elton[/STRIKE] Mr Proctalgia... Not kidding, if you'd bought cheapo and replaced with cheapo you then you could end up spending as much, not to mention the torture your poor feet would have to endure in ill-fitting or badly made shoes. I would just LOVE to have a pair of shoes made to measure for my very own feet...maybe one day....am jealous now. Maybe I will find myself in one of his shops when I'm over in London in June...hmmmm.....

Shall we do a swap? I could do with 16 bottles of wine :D

One of mine is a bottle of bubbly too; one of OH's 40th birthday gifts. Even though we're not drinking currently, he wouldn't let me give it to some friends who have just had a baby! Last September we started a "no drinking during the week" rule & in Feb OH decided to stop completely "just to see if we can". We used to spend £50 a month on wine (on payday) plus top ups as part of our weekly shop, so it's saved a few quid too.

Wow what a big thread. It's taken me all of my cuppa to read it all. I will have to get cracking and get dressed for w**k. Welcome Dilbert, your avatar so suits your name. :D It's so lovely to see joviality (sp) back on the thread. VickyA hope Grandpa improves. Love your shoes Racy. Whoever was making the chicken with goats cheese, sounded so scrummy. You'll have to post the recipe.

Queenie now I know your secret of keeping slim - :D Naughty girl.

    Best go, sleep well everyone.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

ooo no, but you say I lead you astray...... it was really moggins leading you astray ;) :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love reading these threads, just realised how much time I actually spend reading these things and often not replying or doing what I should be doing!

Might have to start a clenaing thread.....as I'm drowning......

If you are drowning in bubbly, you'll need a cleaning thread to know how to clean up the mess you're likely to have made ;)
