Hey :T :T :T Well done, moggins!! :j :jmoggins wrote:To compensate for my spending spree DH came back from the dentist to tell me that his dental treatment won't cost £240 after all, they have restructured the prices and he only had to pay £42.50 for the whole lot, he's paid it in advance and I now have £100 spare from the money I saved towards his treatment
Phew!! That must have been a relief on the bill!! Bonus having extra money thoughmoggins wrote:I sort of cheated for tea, I was just too exhausted to fillet and cook mackerel so I thawed some chicken breasts and shoved them together with a jar of Sharwoods Korma sauce which was half price at Tesco last week. Another bloke on OS - Welcome Dilbert and be careful - youll be washing everything with vinegar and a microfibre cloth before you know it!!
I'm already doing the vinegar thing. Last weekend was cleaning OH's car and thought I'd get some brownie points by using a vinegar solution on the windows. Didn't look so clever when I managed to drip some in my eye:eek: . Boy does it sting!!! Come to think of it I don't remember seeing any H&S warnings about vinegar on the site.

Probably because we didn't expect anyone to use it as eyewash:rotfl:
OS H&S warning: vinegar is an acid - acid stings
OS H&S warning: some women have acid tongues (boy! Do *they* sting!!)
OS H&S warning: wear marigolds if using lemon juice when cleaning - it stings
OS H&S warning: bee's sting
OS H&S warning: "Sting" is the lead singer of an 80's band called "Police"
OS H&S warning: you've now made a rod for your own back (Old saying) by cleaning OH car ... you'll be expected to do that eternally now:laugh:

I'm back :hello: Just logged Dilbert off, I hope
. Don't want him hijacking my school laptop. He's got his own computer upstairs. By the way, he's a technology expert. Don't take any notice of his "jokes" as he works in IT!
On a more serious note, Grandpa is still in hospital. Evidently they've found more things wrong with him that previously thought. He's not doing too badly for a 90 year old though, is he?
Anyway, it's time for Dilbert to make me a cuppa!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

P.S. I have one (Its a Manola Blahnik!!!!) No I do not have a thing about high heels either but I had to get one of those purely for the design of it. I'm ashamed to say that I get my shoes made by Tim Little (see http://www.timlittle.com/public_html/page1.htm ) But they last for years so I'm happy. The quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0 -
