Well, depending how up to speed the motor runs and how long for,

it could be equal to a stroll, or a jog or even a gallop? Mind you, if it's more like meditating ... you're better off having a couple bottles of wine and blow pobs to the points!!! ;)

If you are drowning in bubbly, you'll need a cleaning thread to know how to clean up the mess you're likely to have made ;)

:rotfl: I'm thinking I need the bubbly to get me through the cleaning :o , no chance of wastage here....I'm very careful ;)

Slept quite well last night and DD had no bad dreams...so that was good! The dreaded needle nurse is here at 7:eek:

WM is on and DW emptied, also toilet cleaned. House is still clean and tidy. OH & DD will continue to finish the garden furniture if the weather keeps dry today and am hoping the washing can be dried on line too.

Our dinner of Toad In Hole last night was lovely and the batter had risen very high. DD also announced that she likes green beans and had 2 large portions of them....miracle!! OH bought 2x4pints of Organic milk reduced to 30p (normally £1.90) from Sainsburys and the green beans reduced fro £1.89 to 20p. Have frozen the milk and had the green beans with dinner last night and the rest tonight.

Anyway, im going as I need a wash etc before nurse gets here to wake me up abit.

    Breakie:Bacon Roll
Lunch: Baked Spud, ham, salad and coleslaw
Dinner:Shepeards Pie, Cauliflower and green beans

    Take care everyone.

    PP

    Morning PP!

Im at w**k today and not looking forward to it, im feeling a bit tired and wish it was Friday already, as then I wouldnt have to go anywhere!

Boyf has the job interview today, which he hasnt prepared for and he hasnt even got clothes ready for yet and he has to be there for 11.30am. So, we'll just have to see how well that goes :o

Im still waiting for our bed to be redelivered, they havent even called to re-schedule yet so im still quite annoyed with him anyway. I feel like Im just waiting for the next big screw up.

Anyway, enough of my misery! I hope you all have a great day - im off to get ready for w**k!

    Good morning all!

Just popped in to say hello really, as I have done nothing noteworthy yet, neither do I have any exciting plans for the day!
Washing is waiting to go out, dishwasher not yet finished, I've not had breakfast yet... Oh, I have put the wheelie bin out, but that's about it.

PP I have just looked at your April grocery challenge signature - only £49 to date? impressive!

Anyway, its a lovely morning. Mind you, it was yesterday & half way through the day it changed more than a little bit. But at least the washing was dry by then!

PP - I hope that the needle nurse was ok. Really glad that DD didn't have a bad dream, it's amazing how they can affect everyones life.

jw - well, I hope that your OH's interview goes well. However, you don't deserve to be in constant fret mode waiting for the next mess up. :( That's not how us ladies function properly. Take care :)

I'm popping down to London today. Every year, my old uni housemates and I meet up for supper at Christmas and another point in the year. As the other 3 all work in London, I go down to see them. I've bought the cheapest ticket that I can find, which means that the train will probably be pulled by a pack horse :D. I've got my "bean salad" (GI diet friendly, apparently) ready for lunch. I'd normally treat myself to a bagel, but I'm afraid if my car fund is going to be bumped up this month then I need to save all I can!:A

We're going to a place for supper in Soho. As I don't live in London, I rely on my friends to choose somewhere suitable. We've normally had some reasonable meals, but just before Christmas a different friend to normal booked the restaurant and we ended up paying £35 per head  I appreciate that it might be cheap for London, but I've had cheaper (and better) food! Tonight, we should have 3 courses for about £10 and the restaurant has good reviews. We will see....................

OH has got a fish cake, potatoes and veggies for supper tonight. Let's hope that he remembers and doesn't go via the chippy. :D

Grandpa is still in hospital. He's on some sort of antibiotics and various other "get better pills" but they haven't told him when he'll be leaving. He's finding it tricky to swallow, which has been one of his problems for ages  so he might be having his throat stretched! Apparently he told my mum yesterday that the lady in the next bed "chitters". Pot calling the kettle black :D. Grandpa can "chitter" like a world champion. :D

    Morning everyone!

Had a lovely sleep last night in soft newly washed flannelette sheets......mmmmmmmmm My favourite!

    Happy Birthday for yesterday Pawpurrs!

    :bdaycake:

Sorry to hear you weren't able to celebrate with OH - happens all the time to us, so we have to pretend the date all over again when we get together!! :D

No real plans today, except work! Will have to leave late tonight as well adn then long journey home means I feel disinclined to do housework when I get in! Will be on my own as well, so tempting to eat unhealthily... But reading your pposts here helps me enormously - if everyone else is making the effort, then I should too!

    B- toast
L - jacket potato somewhere on the road!
D - ? Prob use up the salad stuff from teh weekend

Hope the day goes well for you.

Well, so far it looks a lovely day outside, it rained all afternoon yesterday and just cleared up in time for DS to run around a wet, muddy football field!!! Luckily it wasnt to cold, and considering the state of the field, he didnt come home too dirty!!! Found out last night he might be involved in a football tournement on Sunday. we find out tonight. I dont mind, but it is short notice and does put a bit of a spoke into easter!!!! Never mind, if it is on, we will have easter on monday instead.
Not many OS plans today, i do have lots of children here today so will be very busy. Hopefully they will amuse each other, but we will see!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day, take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
