No choc in front of me please! I've given it up for Lent and as the end is in sight, then I'm climbing the walls. And jockettuk's daughter gave me a lovely big Terry's Chocolate Orange egg and I want it NOW!

thriftlady wrote:Apple mint you are lucky having someone to do all the 'pointing' for you.Earlier this year I had very good intentions about working out points in all my hm food ie.everything!.I did it just as you did for your lovely sounding pizza, but I just lost enthusiasm. You've reinspired me :T
Queenie put me onto the WW email too,not sure I'll use it but thanks again Queenie :A Just read the armadillo post :rotfl: :rotfl: :T
I had really lost the plot until OH decided he would work with me on this. I'm hypothyroid and really have to work at losing weight. I really try to bulk out my meals with 0 point veggies and salads etc. My 'treat' is a glass (and sometimes 2) of wine in the evening ... this really makes me stick to my points as I can't have this if I go over during the day. DD on the other hand, likes to aim for a little bit of chocolate each day
The main thing is that I haven't told anyone at work. As I've always had a healthy eating approach (although too much of some of the nicer things e.g. HM muffins) they haven't noticed that I'm trying extra hard. This way I don't have to 'own up' to being on a diet and therefore being set up to being tempted or judged on the results.Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -

Ahh wine, yes that's my treat too. When I am counting points instead of just thinking about counting them, I save them for half a bottle of wine 3 nights a week(sometimes more often

Who said chocolate? Who? why isn't it in my mouth
OK, Nels is setting me up here.
I have a confession to make ladies and gentlemen of Oldstyle. I am a reprobate. I should be drummed out, my microfibre cloth burnt and my vinegar spray bunged up. Reprobates Y Us wouldn't have me if they knew what I have done!
In dreadful breach of all that is money saving today......Coz they were my stopped smoking pressy (5 years now)..... and my 50th birthday pressy... and I been saving for years....
I went and bought myself my first ever (and probably only ever) pair of Jimmy Choos
And I am soooo happy I could do somersaults! :j :j
Sorry... I'll shut up nowMy first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

There has to be some point to doing all that point counting. No way would I leave out my wineSome of the members of the WW session would save up their points for fish & chips after the weigh in .. good grief that's 15 points .. more than 2 bottles of wine (or 4 half bottles each for thriftlady and apple_mint
).
