    Hello all,
    Haven't posted for ages.
Today I woke up to see it had snowed during the night and so went beetling down to the veg patch to see what had died.Nothing had luckily.
I had HM toast and (shop bought)marmite for Breakfast.
    Pilchard sands for lunch
Liver and Bacon, tomato, onion, baked pots and veg for tea.
We had to go buy a new belt for my son in town (£8  )
On the way home I rescued 2 new looking planks of wood from a skip where they are having building work done,to build raised beds in the veg patch (only enough for one small one but its for free so mustn't grumble).
We've been very rain starved in kent so I was madly putting pots and buckets out last night when it rained and they are all full to overflowing and so is the water butt.
Tomorrow will be spent making easter eggs with moulds and chocolate .

Which books apple mint? I've got Pure Points 1 and Time To Eat which are good.Trouble is I'm not very good at following recipes,I prefer to wing it,and then I'm not sure how many points are in things.Btw do you know how many points are in a slice of roast armadillo? :rotfl: (See Squeaky's weight watching thread)

I've just been reading some of the threads on the discussion board and quite frankly I'm relieved to get back to the safety of the OS board- some people get so cross and judgemental on there

My leftover mashed potato pizza idea that I mentioned earlier turned out to be a dud :rolleyes:Still the mash got used up.

I've got the Time to Eat booklet (we use this to work out the points value of ingredients in things like HM bread, pizza dough etc), the Shopping Guide (DD uses this for things she buys during the day) and the following 3 recipe books:

WW. Around the world in 65 recipes
    WW Purepoints 2002 cookbook
WW More Winning Recipes from our Members and Leaders

I use the 3 recipe books for working out our evening meals (cooked from scratch) and OH will point up the ingredients for me (told you he is control freak didn't I!) for anything else.

For example he worked out the points value of pizza dough in my breadmaker (20) for the batch. We put half in the freezer, half in the fridge. The with the half batch (10) I made one pizza, topped with tomato purree (0), red onion (0), tomatoes (0), mushrooms (0), italian herbs (0) and a 'sprinkling' of parmesan (1.5). 15 minutes in the oven & shared between 2 of us - served with 0 point salad. For 2 of us this was around 6 points each.

My problems with start when he reaches goal and I have another 2 stone to go

Tonight I picked up a WW recipe book in my library, so it could be worth taking a look in yours for new recipe ideas.

Queenie put me onto signing up for the free email from the WW site - you don't have to pay and they send you an email with recipe links (they are trying to get you to sign up for the site).
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

After all the energy you spend on finding/catching/cracking into it, it works out at about Zero points :):):)

Apple mint you are lucky having someone to do all the 'pointing' for you.Earlier this year I had very good intentions about working out points in all my hm food ie.everything!.I did it just as you did for your lovely sounding pizza, but I just lost enthusiasm. You've reinspired me :T

Queenie put me onto the WW email too,not sure I'll use it but thanks again Queenie :A Just read the armadillo post :rotfl: :rotfl: :T

squeaky - with due respect, while I agree that those committing the abuse should be reported, it does appear that those who are making unkind, sarcastic, barbed remarks have indeed been permitted to have their say, yet those who have been falsely accused are the one's being told to move forward and not permitted to have their freedom of speech and to defend themselves? To be fair to Lydia, I don't believe her post was intended to be antagonist, merely commenting on her experience, confusion and, perhaps, disbelief that she has been involved in something over which neither she, nor I, have any control over. I didn't read it as abusive :(:(

Queenie - you had your say - you replied recently in the daily thread. I'm sure that you are aware that I deleted the entire thread that was filled with accusations about (possible) AE's posting in the Old Style forum.

So I'll say again - if you have any issues with any individuals then please take them up with the Forum Team.

I believe that there is no way to resolve the issues raised by more posts on the Forum and so WILL soft delete them and refer them for the Forum Team's attention. They will re-instate the posts if they find them acceptable.

Don't worry twink, I'm not sure what is going on either but I'm sure that the BGs and the forum team will get to the bottom of it eventually.

I't a good thing I had that massive baking session last night cos I just got home from an 8 hour shop! Have a family wedding soon and am glad to say I did really well in the sales.

Off now to sort a very late dinner out. icon7.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D
