Not if I get there first! :p I still have a sad looking chicken breast in my fridge waiting to be turned into a culinary masterpiece. However, I only fancy houmous & pitta for tea, so I will probably cook the chicken & have it with my salad for lunch tomorrow.

Still no builders, tiles on the wall or bath to be seen. PLUS Don't I just know he's going to say "It's a bank holiday weekend" and I'm not going to see him for dust come 2pm on Thursday.

Applemint - are you doing weight watchers? I need to star a diet and would love some moral support.

Yes, I'm doing weight watchers but not going to classes. I lost 3 stone with them and have gradually put 2 stone back on :o So I know how to count my points ... I just need the motivation and support.

DD and OH have decided to go on the WW diet with me, and do it OS ... that is cook from scratch from the 3 WW cookbooks I bought the first time round.

OH is actually loving it as he is a real control freak and has set up a spreadsheet to record all our daily points and to track our weekly weight loss. It's a bit like having a leader in the house for every meal! We weigh ourselves on a Thursday evening and OH is also tracking the loss by spreadsheet :rotfl: We've only fallen out once over his over enthusiastic insistance that I CANNOT exceed my points (he doesn't believe in the saving of points approach).

I put my weight loss on my signature for my own benefit ... to make me do something about getting to target.
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D

I've had quite a productive day today (for a change.) Given the lawn its first mow of the lawn and filled up the compost bin. I'm hoping the cuttings will kick-start the composting as it's just festering at the minute.

Listed a couple of books on Amazon as it's been really slow at the minute.

Also made a lovely cheese and onion bread in the breadmaker. :p

It wouldn't occur to me either Dobie, but, it appears it is done to cause trouble: internet bullying basically. By adopting different usernames, they can cause trouble under one name but still (on the surface) seem like lovely, genuine people, under the user name they are best known by. Trouble with that is, the people who use those methods then assume others do the same ;)
My comment about "retiring" referred to the fact it was 1am :o I've no intentions of leaving, tootles, that would be giving the group who are doing the bullying what they want. ;) :silenced:

:A Thank you to all who have given words of support and encouragement both on the daily post and off it. :A

Queenie, I am one of the people accused of being you. I dont know how to prove I'm not. I am me, myself, Lydia. Why do other people not believe me. and why do they think I am you and vise versa. I wish some of the accusers would explain their reasons.

Which books apple mint? I've got Pure Points 1 and Time To Eat which are good.Trouble is I'm not very good at following recipes,I prefer to wing it,and then I'm not sure how many points are in things.Btw do you know how many points are in a slice of roast armadillo? :rotfl: (See Squeaky's weight watching thread)

I've just been reading some of the threads on the discussion board and quite frankly I'm relieved to get back to the safety of the OS board- some people get so cross and judgemental on there

My leftover mashed potato pizza idea that I mentioned earlier turned out to be a dud :rolleyes:Still the mash got used up.

Lydia, I hope I can reassure you, that on the whole, Old Style is a warm, supportive and kind hearted place to be. I can empathise with how you must feel because it is an unpleasant situation to be in. I hope that we can put this behind us and trust that the Forum Abuse Team will take any actions they deem necessary to rectify the upset that has been caused with those who are responsible.

squeaky - with due respect, while I agree that those committing the abuse should be reported, it does appear that those who are making unkind, sarcastic, barbed remarks have indeed been permitted to have their say, yet those who have been falsely accused are the one's being told to move forward and not permitted to have their freedom of speech and to defend themselves? To be fair to Lydia, I don't believe her post was intended to be antagonist, merely commenting on her experience, confusion and, perhaps, disbelief that she has been involved in something over which neither she, nor I, have any control over. I didn't read it as abusive :(:(
