  • Morning guys!

Not a good night here either, but wont go on about it!

WM is on and DW was emptied last night. Toilet is cleaned. House is clean and tidy, but there are some washing that needs to go away and some of the ironing that SIL did yesterday.

OH went to collect DD from Greenwich last night and popped into both Asda and Sainsburys and bought £80+ of food for £14:eek: Wont bore you with all reductions, but mains were large rump steak (taste difference) £6.88 to 59p, taste difference pies £4.50 to 35p, loads of bread/rolls/croissants etc. Organic milk to 20p, veggies/salad/fruit to pennies. Taste difference chicken breasts in a creamy sauce-£6 to 50p, pastry to 15p and loads more. When he walked in, I thought OMG and then said how cheap they were and he used some cash that was left from our weekend away. Most has been put in the freezer and I have my Tesco shop being delivered today aswell:o Mainly storecupboard items and loads of offers but they sent me a voucher for £15 off a £75 spend. SO wont need anything else for rest of month except fruit & veg, but OH will keep walking down to local sainsburys and try and grab these things there:D

Plans today are reading through more of my course. Have started laying out paragraphs and points needed to get across and should be sent off over weekend. Will do a couple of hrs today and try and get finished for tomorrow.

Have a hospital visit this morning to attend but should be in and out in 20mins. Need to have another couple of jabs and more blood tests....yuk!!

SIL came yesterday and she had bought me a huge stockpot that I have been looking for. Have been keeping an eye at bootsales but she had seen it at a good price and bought it. Will be great for making huge curries, chillies, jams, chutneys etc and freezing the items i can.

OH has promised to clean windows in and out downstairs today and tidy through the back garden-weeding etc and mowing the lawn. If time, may put on a film together whilst dd is at school...but will depend.

    Breakie:Croissants (5p for 4) with jam/honey/fruit
Lunch-OH & I:Chicken breasts in sauce (50p), battered sliced spuds(20p) and roasted veg in tray(20p)
    Dinner:Lamb joint(£1),roasties,cabbage(5p),yorkies,parsnips(5p) and carrots

Anyways, best go. Hope you all have a good day and will catch up later.

    PP
    xx

    Morning all,

I am up as i can not sleep. I have been up the last hour which is very unlike me.

WM is on and washing up is done. I have emptyed all the bins and put the black sack in the bin outside as that goes today.

I was very busy yesturday i have put the guinie pigs outside. I could not cope with all the sawdust in the house anymore. They are more than welcome to come in for a cuddle but not to live.

Busy day today DS has a play date this morning then we are coming home having lunch and i am going to clean the kitchen.

Well hope everyone has a good day and i will catch you all laters.

    Hi everyone
Not wishing to show off or anything but I'm off tomorrow AND Monday so I've done my last get up. :j I've 8 hours to do today of course but my diary is full of stuff I don't mind doing so it's OK.
We're off to Rutland in the caravan for the weekend with some friends - I think there's 10 of us all together - so I'm hoping for some good weather. Lots of eating, drinking, walking, cycling, (to work off the first two) gossiping & laughing. I can't wait.
Harley - see avatar - is going to his 'Mummy Louise' for the weekend because he's not to be trusted in polite company (not my friends just everyone else) & she & her partner are really looking forward to having him so he'll get lots of attention.
Hope everyone has a fabulous holiday weekend.

    Morning everyone!

Thanks Smokie for the congrats - had champagne and chocs (so still no diet!) we are going out saturday on our own to celebrate.
On our anniversary we usually pop along to where we got married, they have lovely grounds where you can feed ducks/turtles, so took the kids yesterday, they had 4 weddings on that day - aahhh

Then went to charity shops in sarch of Piggy Banks, got one small one 50p will do for 20p savings, another one was quite a big one for £4 - might go back and get him for mortgage pig/£2 savings??

I want to get one of those ceramic hens to put your eggs in but no one had any. but I did buy a lovely big mixing bowl the same ones we used to have at school HM Economics classes! (those beige/white ones?)
Made a victoria sandwich in it for anniversary cake - which is nearly all gone!

Is it me? but the charity shops dont seem to be as "cheap" as they used to be???

PP- way to go on all those bargains!!!

Applemint - are you following a diet? I just cant get my fat b-m into gear!

Dobie - have a lovely time in Rutland, Ive never been, but sounds lovely.

Catowen - you must be about to come online, Dora's just started on noggin!

Snowyowl - what course are you doing?

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Morning everyone

Twink - Thanks for the weather report yesterday.

Nice and bright and clear here today.

Finished work yesterday and not back until Tuesday :j

One load of washing in already. Have another to do later.
Have the living room, bedrooms and kitchen to clean and tidy as well.

Will be going out to the shops as well. Need to get my normal food shopping and a few things to take away this weekend. It's hubby's birthday in two weeks so will have a look around the shops and see what I can get him.

Need to go to the library either today or tomorrow. Got a few books last week that I thought I could take away this weekend but I have read them all

    Have a great day

    Bye for now
