i just finished cleaning my house!! How mad am i starting to clean at 9pm? :rotfl:

I only started by washing my dishes.. then i thought "just do a bit more..." now ive cleaned and tidied the whole house even changing the towels in kitchen/bathroom and bleaching the toilet!! I just didnt wannna stop while i was on a roll....... all i have to do tomorrow now is empty the bins, mop the kitchen floor (both require going outside in the yard and i dont like to in the dark! :o) and hoover up (didnt think my neighbours would appreciate it at this time! hehe)

Ah well! One more job to scratch off the list....

I bet you feel so much better for it johanne, unlike me..... I have been sitting in front of the pc all evening, so I have it all to look forward to in the morning.

Had a good day today all my law gcse coursework has gone in now,so fingers crossed that in seven weeks I will sail through my exam.
Dunno what I will do in September, as our local adult-ed college is cutting back on educational courses. Lots of Yoga and Batik classes ect, but not a lot of courses where I can keep my remaing little grey cells working.
Oh well I suppose I shall just have to sit in the corner and dribble:rolleyes:

not sure if it will be your bag, but is there a "univeristy of the third age" in your area?

if im completely honest, the name tickles me pink :D, and ive never managed to stop myself believeing that it is an attempt by senior citizens to take over the world  :rotfl:

but they are very PRO lifelong learning, enjoying every day of your life irrespective of age, not sitting in the corner and dribbling ;)

there are always leaflets advertising them in my local library, and i doubt its a local thing, so could be worth a punt if your local college is no longer an option. or perhaps the open universty? would they be an option?

have fun either way  its inspiring to see more [STRIKE]older senior [/STRIKE] experienced :D people making the most of their lives and proving that they shouldnt just be left (nor expected to) sit in the corner and fade away. hope i can achieve the same :j

    Morning everyone

Just getting the thread started. Thought I'd be in the land of nod at this time today considering I only got about three hours on Tuesday night, and about four the night before. But here I am, have had my breakfast and have read the paper already...

W*** today - same old lament ie I don't want to go. Same old story, they couldn't manage a p*ss up in a brewery.

Got my essay handed in last night. Yippee, no more essays!! Gotta keep myself psyched up for the next month so that I get the exams safely out of the way, then I'll have all my evenings and weekends all to myself. Can't wait, there are lots of projects at home I want to get on with.

Happy Thursday everyone...it's nearly the long bank holiday weekend...just one more "get up" and we'll be there.

Morning Snowyowl, morning westi666, morning everone :D

To days to w**k until a three day weekend ... I too am counting down the hours.

We plan to do lots of wine making this weekend and I came home last night to find other half racking some of his wine in the next demijohns.

Need to get the yoghurt maker on tonight and meant to make celery soup last night but clean forgot!

Breakfast: oats, fruit, yoghurt plus a glass of orange juice
Lunch: HM role with salad, apples
    Dinner: still debating that one!
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D
