Hiya.
I've had yet another busy day. It was half good, half a pain in the rear. I had to leave work for a couple of hours to go to my councilling appointment, and wish i had just booked the rest of the day off as the class i had this afternoon just didn't want to know. I could have danced around naked and i don't think they would notice.
I've still got a fair bit to do this evening. DH isn't in yet, but i'm hoping he will deal with tea. I really am tired, and i just want to do the bare minimum i can get away with, and then go to bed.
I've managed to get two loads through the WM this afternoon. I feel bad for wishing the week away, but i wish it was the weekend. I think it might be easier to cope with a 4 day week.
Happy Birthday First Class Male.
Moggins - what about a trip to the seaside for your birthday treat. You could maybe take a picnic. It looks like the weather will be nice, and didn't you say you like outdoorsy stuff? Alternatively, nearest big park/botanical garden.
Anyway, i'm going to stop putting off the inevitable. I'll pop back in to save my sanity again tomorrow.

Evening all,
Just a quick update as DH is away ... so you lot will have to be my listening post
Today we ventured to my friend who is also p.t'g her son ... and we've had lots of success with p.t. today and only 1 accident, and DD is very proud of her BGP's (Big Girl Pants) - I took her to her music class this morning and when she walked in, the first thing she did was exclaim "I've got my big girl pants on" !! So, I think we'll carry on whilst the going is good.
Tomorrow, I think I shall make a rhubarb and apple crumble, as rhubarb and apples is what I have in da cupboard!!
Have a good nights sleep all ... I suspect I will have a nocturnal wriggler join me at some pointGC - March 2024 -0 -

Evening!
I called boyf at 9.20am this morning to check he was still awake for the bed delivery, and it had already been delivered! As you can imagine, Ive been dying to leave work all day! So, My bedroom now looks like a hotel room, very swish and tidy - its a shame about the rest of the flat really!
Ive not got much else to say, except that now im shattered and am off to pile a load of cardboard into my car to take to the tip at the next available opportunity.
Hope everyone had a great day!

Hiya everybody
Well our internet is back on. Woke up this morning at 5am to make DH some brekky and the little green light was on. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh. The move went well. It's been a rather exhausting week. The rented house we are in is quite nice. I washed all the windows, screens & curtains yesterday. I have unpacked what I plan to as we will only be in here for the next 6 months. The rest is stored in our shed on the block.
The best part is it has a full verandah on the front and it overlooks the water. Will send some pics soon once I find the camera.I have yet to unpack my office stuff so I'm hoping it's in there.
DD & I are going to the shops today for a bit of a browse & get some supplies. It's pretty cold here. Must be cos were surrounded by water. It's DH birthday tomorrow so will get a present and DD on the 3rd May. Hope you all had a great week. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
