Hello,
Am not very good at keeping up with the daily thread!
Have had a busy week w**k wise so far. I have run the payroll which always takes time as I need to check, check & check again as, understandably, people get a little ticked off if their pay is incorrect. We all get paid tomorrow, woo hoo.
My BF's dad is supposed to be coming to stay tonight so will be nice to see him again. I am off to Body Balance straight from work so I'm looking forward to that.
My boss has just left to go to college so think it's going to be a long afternoon sitting on my own. Not even any MSE to browse after 2pm! Think I may have to put the radio on for a bit of entertainment.
Lunch: Tuna & sweetcorn rolls, apple, satsuma, remains of choc Easter bunny!
Dinner: Spaghetti Bolognaise

Afternoon...
Not much done today as unsettled night last night.. got up late and then had a fit of panic as i checked my bank balance.... my first payday today since i started my new job 6 weeks ago.... granted i was only due 3 weeks pay (as been off 3 weeks ill) BUT they have seriously underpaid me! Should be at least about £500 + my commission............. they have paid me £71.87!!!
I have put my holdbacks up! So my curtains look loads smarter now.... more "ideal homes" than "student bedsit" finally!
Gotta sort loads of paperwork out this afternoon as just got a revised council tax bill in the post... LOOKS like they are dropping my monthly payments by £11 ... which would make sense as i overpaid 9 weeks while waiting for a benefits desicion to be made... BUT they have paid me extra benefit ontop for this last month while ive working so they will need to reclaim that probably! tut! Also gotta chase Npower for my final bill... only left them in dec! :rotfl: Oh and Telewest have charged me full price for my Broadband when i upgraded through an offer of it at the same price as my dial-up!!
Ah well... off to do something constructive...0 -

Woohoo! OS is working again! Oooh, and there are little smilies on the right hand side, just in case I want to put one in
Have you noticed that the "thanks" button has disappeared?
Many thanks to all those sending me good thoughts over my grandpa. I haven't had an update today yet.
I've just been and bought my dad's birthday present. It's his 60th birthday tomorrow, so I've bought him a lovely bottle of single malt whisky. Can't remember which one it is, but it's from the smallest distillery in Scotland.... but I bought it in my town!
I get paid tomorrow, so I'll be able to transfer some more money into my car fund. :j :j Having the amount in my signature is really spurring me on! I nearly bought myself some chocolate tonight, but decided that I need to put as much as possible into my account! It's great to see it grow, albeit slowly. Plus, I should be out of my overdraft this month! :j :jSealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
