    Hiya everyone

Haven't read any posts so apologies if I have missed anything important.

Have had a family day out today :D Went to take boys to Camelot theme park, got there and it was shut  So, went to Martin Mere, a wetlands bird sanctuary. Weather was superb, so we ate our picnic, had a good few hours walking in the sun, then went to Southport and had fish and chips.

Only OS today was the BM was on overnight but has been eaten as the picnic :D It's nice to have a day off, but I have plenty of ironing to do if I want tonight :D

DS1 is going camping with Mr TM this weekend, so there is much activity at the moment as they pack (along with my orders being barked upstairs, for things that need doing NOW :D) And after that, I may go for a bike ride, to work off this fish and chips.

    Catch ya later folks

    Evening everyone.

I've had quite a good day today - i had some good lessons. I also had feedback from my lesson observation, and there were lots of positive things. Some of the things that were said, i didn't actually realise i had done, so i just nodded in the hope it would make me look better. I think that could improve my stress levels no end. :rotfl:

Also had a couple of hours gossip with my friend, which was good for chilling out. I'm just waiting for some potatoes to cook. DH is stuck in southport for work, and won't be home till late so i'm having to fend for myself. I need to finish off one lesson, but then a well deserved break in front of the telly.

Also found out what extra marking i'd be doing for my 2nd job, and i should get about £2000 after tax. I'm really strange for a teacher in that i actually like marking exams.

I'm also plannibng how to tell my form that i won't be having them next year because of my maternity leave. My friend said that a couple of her class had been asking if i was pregnant or not as i walked through her room. So i want to tell them before they hear it elsewhere.

I wish i had tomorrow off like some of you lucky people.

I should say, happy birthday manicdays.

Best go sort out my tea, and i'll pop back in tomorrow.
    Michelle, xx

Ooooh everything looks new! (though I do hope they bring back the thanks button & thankyou count!)

Well, I've been devastatingly productive today! And no, it wasn't mainly because MSE was down (though of course that helped!) :D;) Think in fact it might have been something to do with my boss not being in the office (she didn't even "pop in" as threatened) so no constant interruptions, just plenty of time to get on with things.

As well as oodles of w**k, I've paid off my Natwest stoozing credit card, made a couple of other payments elsewhere, paid in a cheque, and bought my sister's birthday card - though not as cheap as the one I'd originally planned to get, as I spotted a fun one covered in pink fluff and liked the poem inside! Need to go and cook dinner in just a mo, and see if I can decide on some wine selections to order.

congrats SOMO1 on the pay rise! I should be getting a routine one in July, though I'm not sure of the exact amount, and it's already earmarked for my savings anyway

Right - lots still to do, catch you later

Just worked out that as I get paid tomorrow, I can afford to pay £48.53 into my "car" account. I know it doesn't sound very much, but I've completely got rid of my overdraft now ............. and I only started on this seriously half way through April. I think I've done really well and I'm really proud of myself. Now all I have to do is keep up the momentum!

OH and I have both recently had our "lightbulb" moments, so we're plugging away at stacking up our savings/paying off cars/thinking about pensions

    Am happy :D

Needed to place a wine order (2 cases - I save up for 2 at a time to save on delivery), so was trawling through all the postal and online bumf that gets sent to me, looking for the best deal.

Remembered that Laithwaites had sent me a mailing with vouchers for £10 off one case or £20 off two cases.

    Best value Laithwaites case appeared to be a "Best Buys Case" at £54.99 (x2, + £5.99 postage - £20 voucher = £95.97).

Then logged onto Laithwaites website and found that the same cases were being offered for £49.99 online, with a different offer code  but the vouchers specifically said they could only be used with the brochure wines.

But the voucher codes got accepted for the online deal :j :j :j

So I just got 24 bottles of wine for £85.97 inc delivery :j :j :j

Which is £15 under my budget :j

And means I don't actually have to live on £5 for the rest of this week :D:D

Just spent all morning at the hospital. I managed to break my toes is morning. It is very purple and 3 times the size it should be.

so a good start to my day.

DH has just phoned me up laughing he is very mean at times LOL

Not looking foward to later as i have to walk to pic DD up and it is a 2 mile trip.

Oh FunkyFairy you poor thing! Just a stubbed toe is agony, can't imagine a broken toe....must be very difficult to walk. Let us know how you are coping. And let DH do his own ironing and cooking for a week, the meanie!

R.Mac...hope your romance goes well, it's wonderful when a hunky man adores you, or so I hear anyway. Good luck with your studying, hope you get through it all.

I was extra lazy this afternoon - hopped into bed as I am wrecked - didn't sleep particularly well, but managed a couple of hours. Am off to try again - I haven't taken any sleeping tablets yet as I'm scared they will be so good I sleep through the alarm and wake up at lunchtime when I'm supposed to be at work. I'll give them a trial run at the weekend to see how sleepy they make me and if I can get up the next day.

Have a fab evening, what's left of it, see you all tomorrow.
