oooooh r.mac, rugby players are great :D (including my ex BF) ;)

Now off to browse this summer's Proms listings which have just been published on the BBC website in the last few hours :D

Edit: ooh this new edit function is much easier than the old one! Just came back to say that on the "new" site, the post count has changed - rather than just saying how many posts you've done, it actually states which post it is! Like this one says it's my post no. 1,252 and my previous one says it's no. 1,251! Before, everything I'd every posted would currently be showing 1,252...

Edit again: actually, I think something weirder is happening cos my last-post-but-one is also saying 1,251...

    Morning everyone!

Just getting the thread started for today while I'm in the middle of a disturbed night's sleep. Will try a sleeping tablet tomorrow night - want to find out if they cause the "hangover" effect before I try them on a w*** night. The place is bad enough without going in like a bear with a sore head.

It's frustrating that the "Thanks" button has disappeared - however it is apparently going to come back soonish. Phew!

    Have a fab Friday everyone.

  • Morning Everyone!

Didnt sleep again last night and that was with a sleeping tablet:eek:

WM is on and should be dry enough to hang outside. Beds need stripping too as cleaner is here today, so that will be another 2-3 washloads.

Not feeling too good, so will pop back on later.

    Morning!!
Bad day yesterday in many ways, just about topped my day off being stuck in Dartford in a traffic jam for an hour and a half while the QE2 bridge was shut.
Looking forward to a long weekend.

    Have a good day

    Morning all

Hugs Snowy and PP - hope both get some rest tonight - PP you take it easy.

congrats SOMO1 on your payrise -especially when it was unexpected

Skystar - enjoy your break in Nairn - we where there at the end of October last year and the weather was lovely - we didnt need jackets - my colleague in work has a caravan there and goes quite a few times a year and the weather is always lovely there.

Rzl - good bargain with the wine - when's the party

FF - hope your toes get better soon

Well done some of my monthly shop in Sainsburys last night -after checking prices and offers some of it was cheaper than ASDA plus I got my Nectar points. Got some reduced meats and used £7.50 in vouchers spent £73 and that included £35 in alcohol:o :o (well we are going out to friends on Sunday and I had visitors last night) -reckon I need to spend £25 in ASDA and we should have more or less everything for the month.

It is a lovely day here - short day at w*** but it is the end of month stock count:doh: which I hate. Picking the kids up after school then taking them swimming then for something to eat - they will be back home around 7ish

    better go and get ready

    have a lovely day all
    Take care

    Morning!

Not much to say except thank god its friday! Ive still got to w**k tomorrow but hey, its overtime. Feeling a little tired today as I didnt get enough sleep, so im definately looking forward to sunday morning where I dont have to do anything except laze in bed and relax.

Had my quarterly bonus in today in vouchers, so ive ordered £15 of argos to go with the envirofone points ive got as I indend to get a throw for the bed, and £145 for next to pay of some of my account. We are going to be pretty poor this month so this weekend I shall be planning out the month and going on an economy drive.

I dont have much else to say so im off to get ready, hope you all have a lovely day!

    Jo xx

    Good morning everyone,

PP - i know what you mean about sleeping tablets, i can take 2 tamoxifen (sp?) and still cant sleep!!!! Hope things start improving soon (and for you Snowy x)

SOMO1 - way to go with the pay rise!!!!

Shez - im very strict with our telly watching, but must admit, most days we have Dora on (quite often i use it as blackmail, do as you are told or no Dora!!!!) and it is my chance to have a break or try and do something without them following me!!!! Must try and find Noggin, would be handy to know where that is for an extra episode!!!!

Well, 3 little ones here today but then its 3 days off HURRAH!!!! It looks like its a lovely day today, so after the school run (and i have a blood test today, yuk!!!) i might see if they would like to play outside, hopefully we can manage half an hour before they start fighting over the toys!!!
WM has one load ready to hang out, and another to go in and DW just waiting for the breakfast dishes, and then its ready too!!! A bit of cleaning and hopefully thats it for today.
Right, must go and get DD out of bed, funny how she got up no problem yesterday for her birthday, but today we still havnt seen her!!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(Hope the thanks button comes back soon, dont mind about the counter going, but it is nice to be able to thank people for helpful/nice posts!!!)
