sorry to hear some of you are not feeling to great this morning - me - well I've got that "blown up feeling of PMT" today - feel like fat balloon!!!!
Catowen - Noggin is part of NickJnr, its on CH21 freeview only on in the mornings.
Moggins- how is your DD? I too have a problem with mine eating she's 2yrs, but still seems to have enough energy!!!!
Cha97michelle- sorry to hear about yr poor cat, hope he recovers asap.
Hope the traffic in dartford crossing area is ok this morning, I need to visit lakeside!
Got my first freecycler coming this afternoon to pick up something!!!
off to take DS2 to nursery, hope to pop back later.
Have a lovely day!0 -
purplegirl uk - well done on getting your course work in!
hugs - to everyone who is feeling yucky, hurt their toes, had a run away injured cat, or has had a bad nights sleep.
still studying - can't wait until these exams are out of the way. Have a mountain of OS style cleaning to do and really need to clear out my freezer.
B - pitta bread and camomile tea
L - no idea
D - think i'll make a chilli. good comfort food.
have a great day everyone - if you see me on the boards tell me to go study!
thanks
r.macr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
morning everyone
FF - awww, poor youI hope your foot heals soon
Michelle - ((hugs)) for you and your kitty too
moggins - we must have related kids too. My DS2 now has such a small repertoire of food he will eat, that it's getting seriously worrying - although he does get his multi vits and hemp seed oil every morning. If it's not cakes and biscuits, then it's a struggle - occasional meatball, lettuce and salad cream, or yoghurts and bananas - that's about it. He's even gone off weetabix he's had them for so long
Anyway, today Mr TM has the boys with him so I'm going into town in a while to do some mystery shopping jobs. I also have to get some camping stoves for him and get all the bits and bobs as well as food for DS1's party on Sunday. Guess who will be organising that!
It's a lovely day here so I have some washing to hang out in a bit and more to put in WM. BM needs to go on. I have lots of bol sauce from the other night so that's tea sorted - will make garlic bread (Oh yes, DS2 will eat that) DS2 is coming home tonight but DS1 is camping with Mr TM, although coming home to go to a birthday party at tea-time.
Ok, need to get on -(((hugs))) to all in need - those I've missed out and those who are sleep deprived.
Catch ya later

Morning :hello:
:j :j :j One week to go until the Blackpool meet :j :j :j
:j :j :j And about 7.5 hours to go until I have a week off work :j :j :j
Isn't it frustrating not having the thanks button
Came into work feeling all positive this morning (cos of how much I got done yesterday) and was put on an instant downer by my delightful boss, who (a) blamed me for a mistake she made - even though I had given her all the correct info (it was apparently my fault because I wasn't here on Wednesday afternoon) and (b) kept me talking for 15 mins when I'd gone to ask her a 30-second question, so my bacon sandwich got cold  Her excuse is that she's got self-inflicted food poisoning and shouldn't be here. Well - go home then, you dopey workaholic idiot!
Am going to be slightly over my self-imposed strict budget for the week because of overspending on sis's birthday card and having a newspaper, a can of Diet Coke, a bacon sandwich AND a coffee this morningBut thanks to the bargain price I managed to pay for my wine order, I can afford an extra £6 or so on top of what I'd originally allowed myself and still have £10 left over in me pin money :j :j
I suspect my waistline will shrink during my week off work, cos I won't have easy access to yummy bacon sandwiches and can eat things like porridge with honey, or fruit & yoghurt, instead
smokey - I always like to have a good stash of wine in the house - particularly as the summer's getting closer. My normal consumption level is about 2 bottles a week, but over the summer I can get through 3 or 4 bottles per week, not on my own you understand, but because when we're queueing for various Proms the summer turns into one long "bring a bottle" picnic
FunkyFairy - ouch! Hope your toes feel better soon.
Michelle - poor kitty. Hope he's feeling better soon :grouphug:
Lunch will be the remaining portion of last night's lamb pilaff; dinner will have to wait until I get home later tonight and will most likely be something quick and easy like cheese and marmite toasties
Love 'n' hugs and see you later

Bargain Rzl - you are doing a fab job with your savings - do you not thing you are a little hard on yourself sometimes? I definately admire you, but you do need to give yourself a break sometimes :0) I'm a bit jealous actually, as your savings seem to have shot up, and mine are still low - and time is running out!! Saturday: preparing for DS1's birthday party - food, drawing suitable picture for "pin the sonic screwdriver on the Dr Who" etc etc
Sunday: DS1's birthday party, but one child is bringing his younger brother and both parents and... erm.... it may be a late one and we may even quaff a little something or other ......
Monday: DS1's 7th birthday, so he'll get his pressies from us and have a family birthday tea. Other than that - will depend on how the head is.
It's supposed to be raining here by monday, but as long as it's dry on sunday so all the little horrors, sorry, boys, play outside, that'll be fine. All in all, not a very OS weekend :j0
