    Morning all,

(((Hugs)))) to all of you who are not having a great day alrady, things can only get better from here!! :D

I handed my coursework in last nigh!!! :j So glad its over with, now all I have to do is study for the two exams, i'm rubbish at exams so I hope my coursework was ok. I did not get time to conclude one bit but the teacher thought it was good enough so fingers crossed. SnowyOwl - I hope your essays have been going well!

I am up bright and early for my second day at w**k this week, so far we have been back for two weeks and I have managed two days each week. Wednesday was horrid though and I had to teach all five lessons which has left me feeling exhausted, fingers crossed I have a lighter day today or I may end up ill again as I feel like i'm on the brink of it :o

I have no OS planned for the day really as i'm out until late afternoon. If I am well we are going to use my freen pizza voucher from the Sun nad have Pizza Hut for dinner, if I am feeling unwell then it will be something from the freezer.

I don't need any shopping this week as I have so much stored away, we will need crisps etc in the week but not yet.

It has been a pretty bad week in the purple house so we are hoping that next week will bring use a little more luck, I can'y wait for this week to be over, roll on the weekend, were off to the first big boot fair of the year. OH is working and I am going to treat myself to a shopping trip to the nearest big city!

Off to w**k now, have a lovely day!

    Morning all

Purplegirl - where's the boot fair..I'm feeling a little deprived of boot fairs at the mo.

Popping into town in a bit, got to pick up a reserved item from the library then it's off to Tesco -oh the joys.

Feeling very stiff after all the gardening yesterday, the vibrations from the lawn mower and strimmer set off my carpol tunnel syndrome in my wrists so I feel like I've got heavy sponges on the end of my arms instead of hands.....my sciatica is playing up too - falling apart!

Off to get some washing out before the school run..

    Brekkie - toast/cereal
Lunch - HM rolls with whatever you can find in the fridge
Dinner - DD's want a picky tea with humous and veggies to dip, DH and I will probably have HM bread and pate and a bottle of nice red medicine ;)

    Have a good one all

    Good morning everyone.

Smokey - Thanks, I am looking forward to going except for the journey. Only me that drives so can't even share it.

Forgot a few things yesterday when I was out so will get them today.

Got to get the packing finished as well and the house tidied up. Hate coming home to things needing doing!

Hoping to get away today just after 3 when the school finishes. Should get to the caravan about 6ish. Might just treat ourselves to fish and chips tonight.

Been entering a few on-line competitions this morning. Would be nice if I got lucky.

If I am not back on before I go away then I hope everyone has a great bank holiday weekend.

    Bye for now

Morning all, just a very quick hello as I'm off to do the school run shortly.

Hugs to all that need them, I'm off to take Mum shopping again today. got paid today too and the maintenance that DH didn't pay me last week has come in today so things are looking okay on the finance front.

We're getting very worried about DD not eating, it's now got to the stage where she is getting low on energy so I have finally persuaded DH to allow me to give her her favourite meal every night just so she eats. It's a bowl of rice with some cooked chicken, diced raw vegetables and cubed cheese, so it's not as though it's unhealthy and I'm giving her some multi vitamins too.

    Morning all.

Havent been around long enough to post that much this week.

Signed up to my open university degree course so a new shiny degree in computing and maths here I come :D I’ve applied for a new job at work and it’s a big step up the hierarchy even though its classed as a trainee job, and im already quite near the apex as it is!

The lady from the housing company thing rang and said they have a house for sale in the area we really want to live in and that they pay our 5% deposit and legal fees and we can move in for £99. which is brilliant, just waiting to hear back from her on that, I might do a bit of pushing with her as we REALLY want it.

Got a weekend away planned this weekend in the tent so it should be fun, must do lots of exercise as I put on at WW this week. Rather disgusted in myself but hey, ive lost 4 stone already, THAT is something to be proud of!

    Will post back later.

Bad day yesterday in many ways, just about topped my day off being stuck in Dartford in a traffic jam for an hour and a half while the QE2 bridge was shut.
Looking forward to a long weekend.

    Have a good day

Me too fun wasnt it (not)

Obviously being stuck in traffic is not fun anytime but I hate the way it shows that horrible side of lot of people - we were all stuck literally in the same boat.

Anyway not going anywhere in the car today luckily have got loads of housework and paperwork to do as had a couple of horrible meetings this week and needed to do lotsof juggling financially but will get thro it.

Feels quite cold today but hope sun is coming - really need some sunshine today to cheer me up - heres hoping.

Hope you all have a good day.

PS Where have all the thanks gone
  • morning everyone!!

    Morning.

I shouldn't have wished so hard. I got my wish of an extra day off work, but at the expense of my cat.

I left the pair of them outside when i went to bed last night. I tried calling them in for nearly an hour, but one was missing and the other playing with someone elses kitten in the garden. When DH got in from work at midnight, he came and got me up. One of them has badly mangled his leg. Don't know how. So we had to take him to the emergency vet last night as we thought it might be broken and he appeared to be in shock. The poor thing had to have his leg shaved, and was kept in overnight. He should be having x-rays, and maybe an op this morning.

God knows what he did. The vet said perhaps he had been hit by a car, but he was round the back of the houses, and as he couldn't walk, i think he would have had difficulty jumping over a fence. More likely that he has got it stuck somewhere, as his belly was also covered in scratches (but not from another cat IYSWIM.

so i've been most of the night worrying. I'm just waiting now to see if the vet rings. They were x-raying his hip, and they need to see if he has damaged the blood vessels in his leg as it was stone cold last night. My poor darling. worst case scenario is he may lose the leg, but i'm really hoping that doesn't happen.

sorry for the ramble. I can't believe him. i am now tempted to take out cat insurance for him as that is two scrapes in 5 weeks.

FF - sorry to hear about your foot. i don't know how you are walking on it.

PP and snowy owl - hope you manage to catch up on your rest a bit over the weekend.

RZL -sounds like you grabbed a bargain, with perhaps some cash to leave in for next time.

SOMO1 - congrats on the pay rise. You should really be able to do something nice with that.

I dare say i'll be back very soon as i'm trying to distract myself from worrying. Of course i could throw some of the nervous energy into cleaning, and then i would be sparkly ready for the weekend.

Woo-hoo, payday is here at last :T Came on line intending to do some online shuffling of funds, but look where I ended up?
My sister & niece are coming to stay for the weekend, so urgently need to do some tidying up! My sis is a bit of an obsessive cleaner, whereas I think life goes on whether your cooker is clean or dirty!
hugs to all, hope you all enjoy the bank holiday weekend & I'll be back next week (not sure I'll have time to log on over the w/end)
