Fantastic service from Mazuma

This is the second time I've used them and they were even better this time round. I sent my old BlackBerry 9700 to them on Friday and got paid by Faster Payments today - brilliant!

Like others have mentioned, they're generally not the top payers but for the sake of a tenner it's worth the peace of mind knowing your dealing with an efficient and professional firm.

Having read feedback on this site re: different purchasers of second hand phones, decided to go with Mazuma.

They offered £95 for my old BlackBerry Bold 9700 (working with battery, the odd scratch on the screen)

I posted it off Special Delivery - using the Mazuma function to print out the address labels etc.

Why Special Delivery? It only costs a fiver, Royal Mail is not brilliant re: First Class (loses quite a lot of post), and other forum posters had said that various companies had not received their old phones....

Posted on the Friday afternoon, first email received on the Monday morning stating Mazuma's receipt of phone, second email received on the Monday afternoon (2pm-ish) stating I would get the full amount (£95), money in my account 2 hours later (4pm-ish)!

Very impressive, fills me with confidence, would use again and recommend.

Had to do a quick post to say thumbs up for Mazuma.

I've just sold an iPhone 3GS 32GB for £115. It's just over 2 years old and was working absolutely fine with normal wear and tear generally but then a clear crack in the casing at the edge of the dock port. I entered it as working as it clearly is but expected and understood if they reduced the offer somewhat.

Non working was £55 so I expected them to split the difference and offer £85 or so as although Mazuma make no mention of case cracks another site clearly stated iPhones in any condition but with a crack by the dock are non-working. I think that's extremely harsh but can understand getting less than the same condition phone without a crack.

Anyway after posting with Recorded Signed for for 77p yesterday I just got an email confirming £115 is confirmed and the cheque is on it's way. :T

Having read some of the other phone recyclers reviews I made my choice and contacted Mazuma on a Sunday night to get a value for a Nokia phone. I thought the scratches on the screen might be a bit more than the allowed wear and tear but with a free return if it wasn't acceptable I decided to give it a try, sounded better than sending it off and being offered a reduced amount or paying £10 to get it returned from some of the other recyclers.

Posted it late Monday afternoon, got an email about 10.30am next day that it was received and checked, another email early afternoon that my Argos voucher was on its way and got the voucher Wednesday morning. Couldn't improve the service at all and I know where my next phone will be going. No point in trying to find a better service as Mazuma exceeded all my expectations.

Opting for the Argos/Homebase card gave me £5 more than the cash price and virtually equalled the slightly higher prices paid elsewhere, if you actually managed to get the full price originally quoted instead of being offered less.

I've just read your post and my iphone also has a similar crack so I'm gonna go ahead with Mazuma and see what happens! Thanks x

After spending time reading feedback for the top phone recyclers I went for Mazuma. Received the postage kit next day, posted old phone via recorded delivery @ 16:30 Tuesday afternoon, email from mazuma @ 11a.m. Wednesday morning and bank transfer payment confirmation by 13:30 that same day. Full quoted price of £50.00 received even though the screen was quite scratched (Nokia 5800 Xpress Music). I don't normally do this feedback thing but I am so impressed with mazuma I wanted to pass this on :j
