    Another satisfied customer, placed the sell order monday afternoon. Received the return envelope on Tuesday. Posted Tuesday at 4.30pm (paid 74p for recorded delivery). Received email at 10am on Wednesday to say the phone had arrived. Received an email at lunchtime to say payment was sent. Thursday received Argos voucher.
    From placing order to receiving voucher took less than 72hours, was easy and stress free.
  • First off - I was very suspicious of all the comments on the phone recycler threads from people with no previous posts - I suspect a lot of them are from people employed by the companies. I've got no affiliations to any of them, but wanted to throw in my experience.

    I sent my Nokia E63 (fully working but with a couple of light battle scars) on Saturday afternoon and today (Tuesday) received the promised amount of £66, paid into my account. Couldn't be happier with the service.

    I choose this company because of the good feed back, even though some of the other companies where offering me more than £10 more for my phone. The service was quick, I posted my phone monday, acknowledged receipt tuesday, payment arrived wednesday. so sent another 2 phones and the same brilliant service even though i felt that one was badly scratched. to think i had £130 pounds just sitting in the kitchen drawer:j

    So I guess I'm the unlucky one who reads all the positive feedback and takes a lower price because of it - and then gets an email saying they have received his phone and it is to be classed as non working due to a faulty LCD, with lines across the screen.

    This is the same phone I was using without so much of a hint of an issue up until the day I sent it to Mazuma. I have always used a screen protector so the screen was in no way scratched, and I had never had lines across my screen whilst using the phone. The phone was also sent to Mazuma in a padded envelope.

    Update:

    Contacted customer services and was given a standard response repeating about the screen with no specifics. I then replied that I had rejected the non-working offer and asked them to send my packaging back with the phone as I may need it as proof of proper packaging for a claim with Royal Mail. I later had a missed call but no message (no voicemail set up on new phone!). An hour or so later I received an email saying my order was complete, checked online and it was for the full amount with the phone marked as working. Money was then paid in to my bank later in the afternoon.

    So all in all very pleased to get the money but not happy about what I assume was a mistake in the first place.
  • Very happy with the service from Mazuma.

    I sent in an old iPhone 3G which had a bit of cosmetic damage - scratches etc. Everything was dealt with very quickly, from receiving the initial paperwork through to getting my money.

    The money back from them, plus a friend's Argos staff discount, meant I replaced my old iPhone with a new 32GB iPod touch for £70 (retailing at £249)!

    A very happy customer!

    Another satisfied punter here. I placed my 'order' on the Wednesday and received the return envelope the next day.

    Got round to posting the following Tuesday, and had an email the next morning to advise it had been received and accepted, then another email later the same day to tell me the funds were in my account, which indeed they were.

    Have used Mazuma mobile twice now, both times opting for the Argos voucher which gave me a little more money! Both transactions were highly professional from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in highly recommending them and using them again:T
  • I'm just about to send my iphone to Mazuma , only thing is the wifi on my phone doesn't work would this affect the price ?

    Hi all,
    Just recycled my 3rd phone through Mazuma and still very impressed.

    Set my iphone up for recycling on ther website on Wednesday night, printed off the labels and sent it by special delivery thursday (yesterday) morning and now (by Friday afternoon) have got the money in bank account.

    Brilliant service and always got the amount I was orinally quoted :T

    I recycled a phone for the first time recently and used Mazuma. The whole process was very quick, and I received a cheque for £85 for my 3G iPhone in just a week. Top notch!

    Other sites had offered a higher price, but after reading some of the horror stories on the other threads I'm glad I went with Mazuma!
