Dear All

Further to discussions above, I am considering cancelling my order with onestopphoneshop as still no sign of my phone.  I have also discovered a similar offer, but also an additional similar offer on OVP Vodafone Anytime 200 (6 months, then Talk 30) on talkworldonline with free phone and 12 months free line rental (though the cashback is based on 6 months OVP Vodafone 200, then 6 months Talk 30, which is less than the current OSPS offer).

far as i know the deal on talkworld is not as good. you only get 6 months on the higher tariff and you pay £59.99 for the phone.

i phoned up and was told cash back at months 6 - for £99, month 9 for £66 and month 12 for £66. No you don't need to change contract after 6 months, cashback = £231, rental = 3x £11 + 9 x £22 = £231.

I've just received my K500 and the cashback documentation states £55 after 4 months, £88 after 8 months and a further £88 after 12 months. It also says that you have 45 days in which to claim.

Cancelled  my AX65 as still showing as awaiting delivery to warehouse - now going to order off talkworldonline, as per my message further up this thread (Updated - in my haste, it appears that I may have less cashback/less minutes than if I had stuck with OSPS :-/).

last year i had similar deal from osps. cashback after 3 months & 6 months.i send them copies of bills. no problem. i told them accessories missing. they send me another lot. i found first lot hidden under phone box.

the k500i can be unlocked, by using a datacable and a code from a server.

Any chance you can help me as my data cable (DCU-11) for the K500 is not working at the current time even with the correct drivers installed. I've also tried a t610 and it still doesn't work so I can't get it unlocked. Also any sites where the server logs are cheap?

I have just got to try to get Orange to port the number over to my new contract now (also on Orange) which should be interesting ! Any ideas on how to do this anyone ?

personally not having a problem with there cashback so far, a claim went in by recorded delivery today, wll be interesting as I claimed double the original offer as thats what the invoice says ie 4 months rental not 4 months at 1/2 rental

still that aside I have had two people who I recommend have problems with cash back from osps so I wouldn't shop there again, that said I may take their offer and get it matched by another company
