    erm what is rpoints?

Rpoints is a cashback site. Go through them and they will give you £9 cashback for ordering a contract phone from Onestopphoneshop. Click on one of the links in my signature to get to the Referrers' Board where you'll find a link to join Rpoints if you're not already a member.

Thanks for the replies. Xnet is what I'd assumed until the text seen elsewhere confused me. I've gone for it.

Have emailed e2save to cancel the nokia £4.99 since they have messed me about something rotten. Ordered on 30th for supposed next day delivery..... got an out of stock email days later. Hopefully they won't have any problems cancelling my order as requested. Anyone got any experince with them?

The link for their 7 day guarantee didn't work. They don't have any distance selling stuff I can see and they certainly didn;t let me know about the stock issue within 2 hours.

    thepearce,

i also had ordered nokia 7600 end of oct with the promise of delivery within one week. A week went by and i contacted them. They told me they had problems with supply and it will be with me within the week. Another week went by and no delivery. Rang them up, have been told  there is a long waiting list for the nokia 7600 on 3 network. I told them to cancel my order which they did. A week goes by and i find a card in my letterbox. Someone had a delivery for me. I rang the delivery firm, Initial city link,  and asked them who it was from. They had no idea but it felt like a mobile phone. He said he will pop in that evening for me to have a look.

Confused i rang e2save, they told me to simply reject the delivery. the cancellation of order might have been overseen by the dispatch dept. I asked who the delivery company was they told me it was Initial city link.

The delivery guy came and let me have a look at the package. There was no return address and i had not ordered anything for a while so i rejected it.

so don't be suprised to receive a delivery. Simply reject it.

i live in nottingham and they used initial city link. I don't know if they use the same firm where you live

Ah communication is great if used

Rpoints shows 650 points for buying from onestopphoneshop or am I missing something? (mutualpoints is 500 points). Still not to be scoffed at, but not £9?

    Many thanks

  • I spotted this bargain two days ago (Friday evening) but like many of the other posters, as details were vague and given OSPS's past history I thought i'd see if it had been posted if it was such a good offer.

Anyway, phoned up twice yesterday to speak to someone about it on , and was told absolute rollocks- line rental is £30 per month and the line rental is refunded in three stages, 3 months 6 months and 9 months. when i enquired how much the bloke said he didn't know.

Undeterred i called back again and spoke to someone else who said the line rental was £22, first three months at £11, and the line rental would be in three stages at months 6, 9, and 12. When I asked how much ,he worked it out manually and said £71 each time.

(based on £22 per month I have no idea where he got 3 lots of £21 and if someone can explain it to me I would appreciate it !)

The point is that if there own staff don't know how much the rental is, should we all be jumping for the stars on this one?

Also does the free line rental assume you downgrade after 6 months? and what is the terms of the contract?

Having been one of those who was almost stung by OSPS this year on the nokia 3510 with £300 cashback, i would be very vary of doing business with them as their customer services is useless, whilst they promise much to get your business.

However if you are lucky then this could be a good deal for you. My advice is to email them or get confirmation of the offer prior to purchase although I doubt they will honour it as there staff will promise you the earth to get your business.

Has anyone dealt with this company before? If the staff does not know, and the rebate comes from them(onestopphoneshop), might incurr major problems when coming to rebate time.

Last year bought the 3510 from carphone warehouse for free(line rental rebate) as contract is nearly 12 months, would like to find another for free.

The above looks good and promising, if and only if we can get our cashback.

For December, the Rpoints cashback has been increased to £9. You'll get confirmation of this when you go through the link on the Rpoints site to OSPS.

This link. (Same as one of the ones in small print in my signature below). Join Rpoints via that link and you'll get an extra £5 cashback.

No, you won't get Rpoints if you order by phone - the transaction has to be carried out online.
  • Thank's for the post,i ordered the 500i last night.
This contract can be terminated after 6mths anyway,if they mess around with the cashback.

    Bad advice!

You can terminate the contract at any time, (and keep the handset), but you will have to pay up the remainder of the full 12 months outstanding to Orange! You would also be unable to claim any further cashback from OSPS who require copies of the latest bills before paying out any cashback.
