Are you sure that it is the K500i awaiting delivery, as mine (ordered yesterday am) shows the Siemens as "Awaiting delivery to warehouse"?

Looks like you might have taken the last Siemens on Sunday - awaiting delivery to the warehouse :'( for mine, ordered Monday. Never mind - in no particular rush (but it is always difficult waiting for new toys ::) when you have finally taken the plunge and ordered it).

Thanks for the reply.  I kind of feared that.  The problem is I've asked for delivery to work - which is an office over a few thousand people (IBM UK HQ) - so there's no chance of refusing the delivery.  I will call them on Monday, yet again and ask for written confirmation.  If they do decide to persist with delivery i will tell them they have to collect it at their expense within X days.

Not confident though as I have had some real bad service from them so far.

e2save : "Yes - your order was despatched today"
me        : "Really, today? oh right"
    e2save : "Yes that's what it says"
me        : "Hmmm - but you I haven't given you any of my details yet".
Yep - she was just making it up  >:(

advice - never have your company as a delivery address if it is large. Before last xmas mate ordered a camcorder through amazon who promised delivery before xmas. To cut the story short he did not receive the camcorder, amazon told him that it has been delivered. The receptionist had no delivery. he had to buy one at high street at full price. In mid-jan he had a call from stockroom. Apparantely Amazon did deliver on time but to goods inwards and not to receptionist as stated on delivery address. He returned it back to Amazon (so he says) because they refunded the money.

Regarding E2Save and 3 as u recall i ordered and cancelled the nokia7600 on 3. Guess what arrived in the post on monday. A bill from 3 mobile. Was planning to give 3 a call on yesterday (tuesday) but e2save beat me to it. When i rang them a few weeks ago regarding cancelling my order the cust service was busy and someone took a message. They rang today (must have a hugh log of complaints/queries) I explained to her that i cancelled the order and havereceived the bill. She told me she will contact 3 mobile. She rang me back after 15mins saying it is all sorted and as a precaution cancel the direct debit (which i already had done that morning).  So thepearce if u did manage to cancel the order don't be suprised to receive a bill.
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

guess what came in the post yesterday (tuesday) yep a sony ericsson k500i. Ordered it on saturday. There is a A4 paper which you tear off vouchers to claim cashback. Will be reading it thoroughly this afternoon. Nice phone but will transfer the sim to my sony ericsson P800 as soon as i receive the unlock code from T-mobile. (Note to T-mobile please pull your finger out).

Does anyone know how to lock the phone so u can leave it switch on on your desk. On P800 you can set it so u have to type in a code if u r going to make a call.

  • just of the phone to them

4th 8th and 12th month you get the cash back
contact orange if you dont want itemized billing
contract is 100mins cross network  :P
    they have them in stock
no charge if u pay by direct debit or wise 2.94 a month.

    im going for it :)

I helped you on another forum, you helped me on this forum! Thanks matey! That reassures me :) Just gonna get a dual sim thingy for the phone. So I get my payg orange sim in there, with 5 free texts a day and my contract sim with 100 xnet minutes. Fantastic! Just need to cancel the bolt on I ordered with the phone of £2 for 30 texts. Might as well save some money!

Wooo a free phone, free texts, free xnet minutes. It can't get better surely? :)

Just been checking out the OVP tarrif

    1. you must have itemised billing at £1-50 per month

    2. calls to orange customer service 150 uses  up your allowance

total cost £18 for one year assuming OSPS honours their cashback deal and i keep within my allowance. Note you will be using your minutes when u ring 150 to check how many minutes you have left unless u go online which i assume is free

noticed OSPS failed to send me the free car charger and h/free kit  -  who said life is straightforward.

must go now and chase up my freebies

  • R U sure that U have to have itemised billing on this tariff? I thought it was optional
